Peter Carr is the most caring and compassionate vet i have ever met .He looks after my Cavies. Tragically I had to have my beloved Ruby put to sleep last night. It has broken us because she was rescue from a breeding farm and was treated so badly before being dumped in an animal shelter when she was no longer any good for breeding. Our other dogs are looking for her and are very quiet.Thank you peter for everything.sarah & Johnxx

If there were 10 stars I would give them. I have a very nervous rescue dog - since she came to us we have been using Falklands. Every single team member from the receptionists to the vets and nurses are so calm, polite, friendly and helpful. You aren’t another number or appointment, you are there with a family member to them and they treat you as such. My worst fear was having to leave my dog at the vets by herself to wake up in a crate with strangers - what a ridiculous fear to have now looking back. Unfortunately she cut her paw and less than an hour later, we had been seen, she had been given anaesthetic and had been taken through for stitches. When we collected her, she wasn’t in a tiny crate, it was big and roomy so it didn’t spook her. She even gave them all a kiss on exit showing how much trust she had gained with them. As an owner of an anxious dog, knowing the care they put in to build relationships with the dogs puts my mind at ease for future issues. I cannot thank them enough !!!

This practice is just wonderful - from the Reception team, and the nurses to the vets. They listen to any concerns around your pet, offer treatment options and a clear pricing print out for you to consider at home. Really glad to have found Falkland vets.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience, I had to take my cat Simon, for an emergency appointment as he was feeling very poorly, and I didn't have time to find any childcare, which meant taking my three young children with me, one of who is severely autistic, it was quite a struggle but the way all the staff were so lovely and helpful was just so wonderful. They really made me feel at ease and couldn't do enough for me. The vet and all of the receptionists were absolutely brilliant and I can't thank them enough for making my experience so much easier, especially as I was so worried about my cat too! Hopefully Simon will be feeling better in no time! Thank you all

I am absolutely disgusted in how my best friend and myself were treated last night, we rushed our just shy of 6 month old puppy in after being attacked by another dog, she was taken immediately of us and taken through for observations, they kept us up to date which was brilliant, I cannot fault the nurses care but the vet (Peter) was utterly vile.. He gave two blunt options of either pay such and such now with absolutely no option of a payment plan or to put a completely otherwise healthy puppy down which had amazing observations etc who only needed stitched up, £1000 for stitches!! The nurse who I think I recall her name being Hattie went above and beyond for us all and our puppy to which we will always be so grateful for her kind and compassionate care during such a difficult time, she did paw, nose prints and gave us viles of hair but all the vet (Peter) was interested in was his money and he wouldn't even administer pain relief until a payment could be assured to be made so unfortunately we had to have a healthy baby put to sleep, during this traumatising time all he could go on to talk about was the problems the breeds have and how expensive their care can be, all of which had absolutely nothing to do with her being attacked. I think he needs a firm lesson in how to be kind and compassionate during these touch situations. Hattie was also there this morning whilst we collected our baby and once again a massive thank you, she couldn't have done enough for us all!

Very kind and compassionate when dealing with all animals shape and size, wild or not! Emily and Sharon in particular were amazing. Emily made our time losing an animal easier and was very thoughtful and went out of her way to get us paw prints and a nose print of our little pumpkin without us asking. Sharon was also helpful over the phone and very kind!

The staff at Falklands are the most wonderful bunch of people you could hope to have care for your pets. Everyone on reception is kind, helpful and empathetic, and the vets themselves are fantastic - it's rare to have a combination of such technical skills and genuine care and compassion. Francesco has taken care of my wife's gerbils on numerous occasions, and his expertise with exotic pets is so reassuring. On top of this, he genuinely cares and is interested in each of them, and shows amazing compassion and investment every time we see him. We've had a very similar experience with every one of the other wonderful vets and nurses here too. Couldn't recommend them enough! Keep up the great work, team.

My cat wasn't registered at this vets, called as couldn't get into my own vet. My cat had hurt is leg couldn't walk on it or put pressure, they were wonderful made him a appointment straight away, lovely receptionist staff as well. He had a accident in his box the receptionist took him off to clean him up and his box, first time visit and wow so much care for the animals. The vet gave him a very good look over, very impressed and my cat is now staying there now.
