   Very disappointed that their 'new system' of adding a discretionary 12.5% 'service charge' isn't explicitly pointed out at the till. I get it's 'mentioned in numerous places,on the menu etc..' however, in most places that do this it's also pointed out. I had 2 servers wave the card machine for payment without telling me the price, and it took me querying a lower bill for the same round to have it explained. Very poor. I have no problem paying a small service charge for exemplary service but when you run the glasses to the bar and have to go to the bar to order a drink, what exactly am I paying a service charge for. The staff to do their job?? They can't even clear the glasses on your table. I think it's highly presumptive and grotesque in it's application. Will certainly rethink our drinking options. Wasn't comfortable the last time we were there either, as they started the air-conditioning on cold when it was minus 1 outside. It's a shame as we really enjoyed the place.

   I recently dined at Aloft and had a great experience from start to finish. I ordered a curry, and it ended up being the highlight of my visit—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced in spice. You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the dish felt carefully crafted. The atmosphere at Aloft was modern and inviting, and the service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, and I’d happily return—especially for that curry. Highly recommend!

   Excellent stay at the Aloft. Very convenient for going to the P&J. Only downside was the rooms being absolutely roasting. Air con worked but to keep the fan on the highest speed to keep the room cool wouldn't have let us sleep. Otherwise excellent stay

   Hotel room is surprisingly big and roomy. Shower worked great. Water pressure fine. Desk has plenty space. Location is great, on bus route 727. Door to door whether you are going to airport or city. Nearby you can walk one bus stop distance to a pub, a convenient store and a petrol station with a store. Highly recommended for visitors. But I would imagine if there is a show in P&J live venue the price could be high.

   Always lovely to come back here. Modern hotel with a relaxed feel. Great rooms and lovely bathrooms (always a plus for me!) and friendly staff. So handy for P & J Live.

   Great service. The staff is very helpful and extremely friendly. Laura the bartender is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. When ever we come in it's always with a group of 20 or 30 people all at the same time. She is always extremely pleasant and make sure everyone has exactly what they need. Top notch service!!!!

   Great rooms, great breakfast, fairly priced. Only reason for a star missing is that they charge you separately for staying in their own car park on arrival. Just can't reconcile this with good practice, seems like scalping customers.

   I stayed here whilst attending a conference at P&J Live. I can’t really fault anything. Staff friendly, convenient to get to from the airport, comfortable spacious rooms, plenty of breakfast options, a gym, washing machine / tumble dryer free to use and reasonably price.
