This place requires thorough cleaning!!! My first room had badly flickering lights which kept turning themselves off.. so I was moved. The second room had clearly not been cleaned well. The sheets had been changed and that was about it. Floor was filthy. Crumbs and raisins in a lot of places and the bath was filthy with dirt ring around it.

Staying for work so didn't use all the facilities but the room was clean and comfortable, the bed was very big & the shower was very powerful. Great night's sleep & friendly staff. Would visit again if I was in the area

£80 for one night with no breakfast is overpriced Decor has a charm to it but the hotel is very outdated. My room had an unpleasant odor and so did the corridor. All but 1 of my lights were also broken aswell my room not being totally clean.

For the price of £70-80 a night, this was absolutely awful. The water was brown, we tried to get room service water as there was no bottled in the room (says room service is 24h) but the guy wanted us to come downstairs to collect it (I suspect because our room was so far away from reception). The heating was up full blast, which we discovered at 2am after both sweating buckets. Even after turning off, the room was still incredibly warm. I think because we were near the pool. There were cobwebs and coffee stains on the table, stains over the toilet seat and the bowl itself was very dirty. It seemed like it had not been cleaned prior to us staying in there. Will be requesting a full refund, uncomfortable and dirty.

I stayed here with a group and we were all a little worried because of the other reviews. We were subsequently pleasantly surprised at the fact that the hotel was actually lovely. It may not be the most modern place I've ever stayed but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are relatively spacious and the facilities are great. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.
