I wish I had looked at the reviews before. I can see they are awful. Terrible service from the staff. They booked my dog in for the wrong groom knowing the breed and blamed me, and not even an apology. Wasted journey and after seeing the haircut from the dog currently getting groomed I won’t be returning. Don’t use.
I took my Jack Russell to have her nails trimmed and they were really long. I was told to leave her and they would phone me when it had been done. Well honestly I cannot see any difference and when I pointed this out was told that they had taken them to down to the quick. I can honestly say they look no different . If they were unable to do it they should have said. I feel I have been robbed. Very very disappointed
Arrived early for our appointment to be told that no groomer was available for our PRE-BOOKED appointment. Apparently two voicemails had been left for me last week to inform me of this. Nothing wrong with my phone and have checked voicemails - nothing. Woman on the desk couldn’t have been less interested and her tone got even worse during the 4 minutes we were in there. No offer of apology, no offer to rebook, or a discount for the inconvenience. Customer service was none existent, as was basic human manners. First and last time I ever try The Groom Room. The amount of grooms our Shih-Tzu puppy would have needed throughout her life, it’s their loss. I seriously hope HR read this review and take action before the place goes out of business.
My dog came out wet still. Some nails clipped and left rough so they could catch, others just not cut at all. The level of clean would appear as though they simply hosed her over rather than cleaned her. I would never use this groomers again. £35 for the stress and no actual service. No thank you.
Took my 9 month old border collie in for a simple bath, brush and dry and he came out looking like he had, had an electric shock and smelt like wet dog and not like he had just been groomed. My collie normally has silky smooth coat that shines and is always getting comments on how lovely his coat is!! I'm now going to have to try and get his coat back to pre groom state!!!.Not happy at all and will not be going back there!!!!
Took my 2 dogs here today to have their claws cut. Great service and so kind and lovely. Their claws look fab after having talons for a little while! Will definitely go back again.

Elouise and her 2 colleagues went above and beyond my expectations when I took out adopted dog here. She was so helpful and professional. I felt at ease leaving Luna there albeit her first visit she was a bit wary! The girls did a fantastic job and I have booked to go back in 4 weeks thank you Eloise for taking the time to explain everything and for helping me. Natalie and Luna :)
