Outstanding customer service. There was a problem with something in the changing rooms in the swimming area. I spoke to a member of staff who was extremely helpful. Although he couldnβt solve the problem, he did everything in his power to try and help. Extremely friendly, polite and very helpful. Thank you Kieran Winstone. You deserve recognition for your approach to customers :)

Highly recommend the leisure centre! I bring my children swimming here for lessons, my daughters teaching is fantastic, I want to say her name is Katie (highly recommend her) sheβs been quite nervous about swimming however the teachers have made her feel safe and comfortable in the water. After we played in the soft play area and got a coffee and cafe from the cafe, it was all very reasonable priced and the young gentleman who served us who is often teaching swimming alongside the Saturday team, was amazing he asked us of any allergy requirements and asked us about a weekend and how the lessons were which added a lovely touch to our day! Cannot fault the leisure centres activities or staff all fantastic!

As me and my friends enjoy playing badminton a lot, the rivermead leisure centre is the closest and easiest access for us living in the city centre. The badminton courts are nice and enjoyable. However it can get pretty busy and fully booked, so highly recommend to book a week in advance

Okay, so Rivermead Leisure Centre is basically my second home. I've been going there for what feels like forever, and honestly, it's the best! Whether I'm in the mood to smash a workout or just chill and have some fun, Rivermead always delivers. The facilities are seriously impressive. The gym is loaded with every machine and weight you could imagine, so you can always get your sweat on. And the pool is brilliant. But what really makes Rivermead special is the people. The staff are always smiling and ready to help, and the regulars are a friendly bunch too. It's just a really welcoming and positive place to be. I always leave feeling energized and happy. So, if you're looking for a place to get fit, have fun, and feel good, Rivermead Leisure Centre is where it's at.

A nice and family orientated centre. Gym, swimming centre, play area, party centres, cafe, basket ball centre and plenty of free parking outside. Charging car ports, disabled pays, mother and parent parking too. The place is totally revamped. The users need to do those bit with regards to keeping the premises tidy by being respectful, if itβs too last. Staff are polite and welcoming.

Convenient gym for those not in the centre of Reading, however the gym itself is fairly filthy with most gym equipment looking like a relics of the 1980βs. The gym really could do with a good clean, most the equipment has a thick layer of dust/grime on top. Strange brown leather machines when you first enter that are never used and take up space where more benches/racks could be. Of which, there is only one barbell bench and one squat rack - equipment is limited and the dumbbells are all heavily damaged. Strange layout with a lot of excess treadmills etc that appear to never be used. Place is desperate need of a revamp.

Squash courts are usually available and reasonably priced but they drastically need repairs doing as all the netting between courts is broken to the point balls get easily lost. The swimming pool is a decent size and not over crowded and surprisingly not as cold as some public pools. Staff on the front desk are generally helpful and polite

Coffee machine failed!! Half the squash court lights not working so quite dangerous to play on. We complained to the receptionist but he just shrugged and said βtheyβve not worked for monthsβ Iβm very unhappy about the response and wonβt be going back.
