   This is primarily an Army sports centre that is also open to the public. The pool is not open at all times to members, due to club events, but is advertised when it is open. The pool for swimming only! Split into slow medium and fast swimming lanes. The gym has plenty of machines, 6 bookable squash courts and 2 sports halls too. A number of workout classes are available for members too. Changing rooms are basic and cover what you need. There are only vending machines for any type of food or drink. Run by a third party on behalf of the Army.

   Showed up with my swimming kit and my money. Said I would like to have a single swimming ticket. Have no profile, no application, no qr code card. Just none of that. The man says you need to register with an ID card AND a household bill proving your address!!!! I asked if there was a way to just pay for the service, swim and then go on my way. Failing that if there's maybe a way to register somehow that can be done with my documents on the spot. Apparently not. It's beyond the wit of this vendor to take your money, let you consume the service and just be done with it! It's pathetic!!! I know that you need me to register and prove my identity and all that stupid rubbish because you want to sell my data, but honestly how much money do you make out of that? 10 pence, 50? If that. Why can't I just pay 1 pound extra and save all that idiotic rubbish? I don't need to share my email, my photo ID and my living address to buy a pint or have a hair cut. Why do I have to do this to have a swim?

   Fantastic facilities. Always clean and the staff are very helpful. There is a small food station and a comfortable area to sit and relax. Male wet changing room are a little too snug for a facility so large. All in all still a 5 star facility.
