   I already held my PADI Open Water certification and wanted to build on my training, so I contacted Dave Normington at Clubsub for advice on what to do next. Dave was extremely helpful, taking the time to guide me on the best next steps to develop my skills. His knowledge is clearly extensive, but what makes the training so effective is his relaxed and easygoing teaching style. He explains techniques in a way that feels achievable, encouraging, and never pressured. When I needed extra support during the dives, Dave was patient and constructive, which gave me the confidence to push forward. The sessions at Capernwray were thoroughly enjoyable, combining clear instruction with a welcoming and supportive approach. I came away not only better trained but also feeling much more confident in my diving. I’d highly recommend Dave and Clubsub to anyone looking to progress their scuba diving beyond the basics.

   Dave and Andrea are a hardworking, caring helpful couple who are a credit to the community. They took on my daughter for school work experience to help her out, as she has a strong passion for diving & fish, she has ended up completing a open water scuba and dry suit course. They have gone above and beyond to fight her anxiety and have fit in around her crazy gcses schedule for lessons, coursework and the test. They are well prepared for dives & stock everything you need in their shop. New, second hand, rental or buying, they also offer cylinder refills and a service department. They are backed by a fabulous team around them of really nice, helpful guys. They are like a diving family. We have just spent the weekend with them diving at capernwray & they really made us feel like part the family. We met some lovely families and are thrilled with the service we got. We are about to relocate and are gutted we have to start again but they have still offered their services if we need any advice or help. What more could you want?

   So just popped into Clubsub as i was traveling through Stoke on my way home, i needed a new mask and although they never had much of a choice i did find one that i liked and was ready to purchase. That was until i waited and waited and waited until the lady on the telephone had finished her conversation with a disgruntled customer about why his tank seals hadnt been done. Even though there was another male assistant present {who obviously couldn't be bothered to lift his head to offer any assistance} Then after me waiting all this time to be served the lady ended the phone call and instead of looking at me to serve me, turned to the man and started to explain to him all about her conversation she had just had on the phone about the air seals on his tanks. Needless to say i put back the mask and left the shop. Lucky for me i was only passing through and it wasn't my regular dive shop. Absolutely atrocious.

   Stoke on Trent`s premier Dive Centre that offers air fills, Enriched air fills, Hydrostatic cylinder testing, Regulator servicing and Dive Computer battery replacement. The Dive Centre also sell`s All diving apparel from Fins to dry suits. It has dedicated Training facilities and also offers Free Good Advise. Its my "Place to go" for anything diving.

   Learn to dive with longest established dive center in stoke on trent, I learned to dive elsewhere and the other center refused to train my friends daughter at aged 10, club sub offered to help and from the word go were helpful and passionate about helping her to reach her goal at only ten years old an open water scuba diver. They made you always feel so welcome and safe through training. With a well stocked shop with all your needs taken care of with free drinks open to all. I felt that this was the place for me and with the help from David and Andrea and all the team I decided I wanted to be an assistant. So in 2010 a year later I decided to go professional and joined the team as a dive master. This was all I thought I would ever reach but David trained me and nurtured me and showed me that a dive master was not my end goal but a beginning. With the confidence and solid training I had received I, went on to do my instructor training with perfect score pass rates thanks to the team, I now I am currently no longer an instructor with the support of everyone at club sub I continued to build my skills reaching msdt and now I am an idc staff instructor working towards my master instructor. So my advice to anyone out there looking at starting into diving or continuing with diving, come to longest running padi 5* idc center in the area with a team that drives your dreams and passions into a reality like they did for me. Don't believe the review call in and ask at shop or pool I will be happy to talk to you in person as now a full member of team, so come join the fun and learn to dive.

   I don't normally write reviews but these guys are well worth the effort! Three of us joined Clubsub at Fenton Manor swimming pool for an intro to scuba diving lesson. We were looked after by Neil and Cam who had a very calm & patient style that put you at ease. We all really enjoyed it, if you are looking for a taster session I highly recommend it - hoping to be back again. Thanks to everyone at Clubsub

   Learnt to dive with Clubsub. The owners and staff here are so helpful, patient and friendly. A whole new world has been opened up to me. A great place if you want to get your children off their electronic devices and out into the amazing underwater world. All the kit you could ever need is available to hire or buy.
