   We've used many different vet practices in Derbyshire over the years and have found McMurtry to be the most consistent in being able to see the same vet. The quality of care and service is exceptional. It feels very 'family' orientated and so having a nervous dog, this is particularly important. We primarily use the Wirksworth practice and always receive a warm welcome. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking to develop a relationship with their vet.

   I moved to McMurtry's after leaving a popular vet in Matlock I had used for almost 9 years. So pleased I did! Bethany and Chris have done a super job looking after my pets. All the staff have been lovely, compassionate and welcoming. After each visit I have left feeling reassured my pets are treated with dignity and their emotional state addressed not just physical. I just wish I had switched years ago.

   Would not recommend pay a payment plan of £18 a month for flea and wormer to ring up and order it and to be told I need a consultation which I have to pay for before they will give me any because they haven’t seen my dog in so long because she hasn’t been ill all they want is your money will not be using this practice again and will be letting everyone I no of how rude you talk to your customers all this vets want is your money when it isn’t Necessary..!!!

   Really grateful & impressed by the knowledge, support, kindness & compassion shown by this practice & all the staff including John Thompson, Dan Harding & Harriet Peck. I can only highly recommend their service, they are an excellent & genuinely caring team, from reception staff to the vets. The fees are reasonable too. I feel that my pets are in safe, caring & capable hands. We've moved from another vets & this practice seems much better & is well worth the longer journey.

   Absolutely excellent and friendly service when my dog ate a whole bar of dark chocolate on holiday. She's very nervous and they were really kind and gentle, prices were very reasonable and staff were knowledgeable. Wish I lived nearer would 100% make you my regular vets.
