    The environment in which their put their fish in is just shocking to me. The fish look half dead, either they are floating upside down or sideways or they're banging themselves against the glass because they're so cramped, their enclosure is so small. The tanks in which they keep the fish in are mostly empty apart from maybe some plastic plants. What the hell. Also those fancy looking tropical fish that are kept in separate small tanks look like they have been through the 5 stages of grief and flushed down the toilet multiple times, they literally look like they want to die. The rodents also look really stressed out.

    Never had problems in here before until today. Took my son to buy a hamster. Had to wait 40 minutes while the girl was dealing with another family. Apparently only one person can deal with buying a hamster! But ok whatever. Finally were being served. She asked which hamster my son wanted and he picked one and suddenly another girl came along asking what cage we had bought !? So showed them as luckily had a photo. Apparently its too small, even though they had 5 hamster in a cage only a bit bigger than the one we had. Ours is 10cm too small but we can buy one from them for £45 and still have the hamster. So one devastated little boy, 40 minutes totally wasted. I wont be stepping foot in here again! Fuming.

    The manager of this store went above and beyond for me. It's my first time owning a dog in a long while but she took so much time to show me how to setup the app and give me lots of tips. The store is really well stocked, it's also for an amazing vets above that's a bargain with it's pay plan, I totally recommend this store.

    Clean and tidy but young till staff can't smile, look bored, eat and drink at the till, and speak in a zombified fashion. I get you are not living the dream, join the club, but good customer service is easy, makes your day go quicker and makes you happier too. Such a shame staff aren't trained to give decent customer service.

    A gentleman named Mikey served me today at the Hedge End branch. He was so kind, helpful and reassuring when i came to collect my repeat order. He went above and beyond as the items could not be located. He worked hard and did not give up. The items were found and he offered to take them to my car.     Good range of products , the only thing I don't like on pets store when there are selling pets , rabbits and guniea pigs. There are so many animals being dumped because people either can't afford them or there are to much work

    Very good (busy). The staff are very friendly and helpful especially the girl that helped us, we were buying a large 2 level hutch. We were even allowed to drive into the locked off area outside to make it easier for us.

    I’ve really been battling on how to rate this store, we are new to the area and have been here 4 times so far, the first time we had such poor customer service due to lack of knowledge we had asked two people the same question regarding recommendations on dog food and neither knew how to help, the second time we came my wife was accused of allowing our puppy (4.5 month old at the time) to chew a teething treat then swapping it for a fresh one which she did not do, she actually picked out more because our puppy liked them but the woman who served us wasn’t convinced, but then the last two times I’ve been we were served by a tallish young lad who had AMAZING product knowledge, I was all ears which usually I’m not because I have to ask questions to know what’s the best product for me but he really dissected things and was so helpful! Then the last time we came a young lady who seemed super busy with stock took out her time to help us pick the right doggy bed as our puppy is about 6 months old now and it was just such a lovely bit of customer service. So we’ll done to the younger two who were willing to help my wife and I! Also to the lady who was there to help us with our puppy VIP discounts!! We hope to keep coming here!

    I went in to have a look at the cute pets, I was thinking of getting myself a small cagged pet but wasn't sure what the right animal would be for me. One of the colleagues Lewis, asked if I needed any help, so I explained, he took his time to help me choose the right pet for me, I give him 5 stars for his service. I now have two baby gerbils who are very happy and healthy in their new home.
