   This is the only place I would go and say "just fix it". You can trust them to be totally professional and honest in their approach. They listen to what's wrong, sort it out and warn you if it's gone to be an expensive bill. I still go there after 35 years!

   I took my car (Volvo C30) for its MOT last year. I collected it the same day and was handed the paperwork stating that it had passed. Selling my car this year, I checked its mot history online. To my surprise I found that last year it failed the initial MOT. Checking the paper work I found stapled in all four corners to the pass sheet, another sheet detailing the failures due to: 'front position lamp not working...indicator incorrect colour...registration plate lamp inoperable'. This means that they failed my car, fixed the alleged faults and "retested", with neither my knowledge nor consent. Very disappointed and somewhat baffled as this garage came recommended. It was the oldest of the owners that I dealt with.

   A traditional garage with old school values. You speak to the people working on your car. Don't be put off by the none main dealer look of the premises the workmanship is second to none.
