   Stayed at Robins Nest and have to say what a charming location. The owners have obviously paid a lot of attention to detail, ensuring that you have everything needed for a short break, even providing dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. All pots and pans for the kitchen and facilities for cooking complete meals. Sitting outside having dinner in the evening sun where all you can hear are the birds, absolute heaven.

   We have just come back from a lovely few days at barn owl cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, and the beds were so comfy. It was so cosy & warm in the evenings. We walked into cromford Village about 5 mins walk and matlock baths, which takes about 25 mins. Mekala, who works on the farm, was lovely really helpful and showed us all around the farm and answered all our questions. We would definitely recommend barn owl it was such a relaxing, peaceful break.

   Lovely cottage with nice bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. We felt totally relaxed and really enjoyed out stay. Great for the dog! Fantastic area and on a lovely little farm with horses stright outside. A nice bottle of wine was waiting for us on arrival. Loads of outside space to sit in the sun and for a bbq. It was slghtly warn and needs a slight bit of tlc and a welcome pack explaining bits would be nice. We never found the laundry room!

   Fantastic,if you want to experience a farm life then have a few days at the swallows loft and other accom that's available there....you can go and see the horse's stroll around the yard and let the checkens come to you...location is fantastic as well

   Lovely,warm cosy barn conversion. Extremely well equipped kitchen and beautiful bedrooms. Being on a farm makes it interesting for the children. A quiet escape to the country.
