   My cats stayed at Hampton House on Moorgreen Road in West End from12th to 26th September. We have used several local catteries a couple of times a year for 10 years so the cats are pros now and despite grumbles, are pretty chill. It is worth noting that booking in process at Hampton House is quite lengthy, allow at least twenty minutes if you are on a deadline, the other catteries we used have taken no more than 5 . I always leave a dozen different toys for the cats for entertainment and placed these in the run with the cats, one of mine is a Bengal and needs entertainment more than most, we corrected the owner 3 times regarding the cat's name, which he got wrong despite it being written on all paperwork, outside the pen, and used by me half a dozen times when talking to him. When we returned the owner was not there. We knocked at the house, and ten minutes later he arrived, apologised and said he had not written down our appointment time. He mentioned that the bengal had thrown his water out of the bowl all over the floor on a daily basis, and that he had got covered in his own mess, "not sure how, but we cleaned him up". The cats were in a different run, as we expected, but when it was opened one cat uncharacteristically bolted past us and hid, the other, again, totally uncharacteristically, stayed squeezed into the corner on the ledge, trembling. I managed to coax him down and realised his back end was still covered in crusted diarrhoea. I also noticed there was only one toy in the pen, when I asked where the rest were the owner responded that he didn't think there were any. When I found one of the toys on his desk he then offered to go and check the original pen for the rest, at which point I picked up the cat carrier to speed up our departure, I then noticed the front of the carrier was also covered in dried diarrhoea, I was quite distressed by this point and we left as quickly as possible. The younger cat has clearly been very unwell, and bored out of his mind, I feel let down, guilty and concerned, and hope that by leaving this review anyone with a 'high maintenance' cat, which mine clearly is, doesn't leave them at this cattery, this is the only negative experience we have had of many, and there is no need for anyone else to go through the same.

   I would highly recommend Gary is very good and always accommodating for Earl. We have been using Hampton house for 3/4 years & Earl is always relaxed when we collect him. We used another cattery whilst HH was being refurbished and it was not as friendly. Earl wasn’t very happy when we collected him. If I could give higher ⭐️ I would.

   Hampton House Cattery is fabulous. My beautiful cat Margo has been going her 3 times a year for the last 3 years or so. She is so well looked after. Gary and his Mum Mary are very caring about all thr cats. Lovely place. Fully recommend !

   Used Hampton House cattery for the first time over Christmas. Very friendly and obliging. They took the trouble to acclimatise our cat so she was relaxed before we left. Gave us peace of mind so we could go away, relax and enjoy our break knowing that our cat was in good hands.

   Left our cat with Gary for a month and he’s been very well looked after. Our cat was hiding the day he should have been dropped off so we were a bit late but Gary and his mum were very accommodating and understanding. Will definitely return and recommend.

   I booked my cat into the cattery due to having to move i wasn't sure at the time of confirmed dates but Gary was very understanding of this and booked her in for possible date which we later confirmed. While there i had to extend her stay again this was no problem at all. Extremely friendly and professional service in a lovely setting would definitely recommend
