They truly care about animals. Avoid the pet doctors. They quoted 5 times the amount I ended up paying with the people's vet. The staff were incredible. Best on the island
Joint best vet in my life ! Pete is brilliant - he saved my cat after the poor thing was badly bitten by a dog that broke his pelvis. He also put my dear old cat to sleep & it was the kindest quickest death I’ve witnessed - which makes the awful decision easier to live with. As one of the very few independent vets on the island, Pete has complete control over the destiny of his practice. He has no monthly quotas to achieve for a faceless, controlling company. This is very important. He is kind & very knowledgeable having practiced in many environments with all kinds of animals - my feisty cat is perfectly calm with Pete & I know we are getting the very best service from him & his great team. Thank you People’s Vet. P.S the other best vet was on Exmoor.
We were over on holiday and sadly our dog became ill from cancer. We had to make the horrible decision to put him to sleep. This vets couldn’t have been kinder to me and my family . Thank you so much for making a horrible time a little easier . Off to the rainbow bridge now Dougie dog xxx
What can I say. Brilliant vets, recommend 1000%. Pete and his team are fabulous, friendly, kind and extremely compassionate. Ladies on reception all so friendly and lovely. January one of my cats became ill with his liver, they got him well and he recovered well. Then in April he was attacked by another cat, had huge nasty abcess that was cut out leaving two nasty open wounds, still healing well, on track. Greg, a wonderful young south african vet has taken good care of my baby. Actually think Patch likes seeing him. Thank you Greg and everyone at the peoples vet.

I can't thank the vet and his nurse enough for the kindness, care and compassion they showed not only to my pet, but to us as well, when unfortunately we said goodbye to our beloved 18 year old cat yesterday. They were amazing!
