My machine was in for a regular service. K&B contacted a couple of times with progress and updates about any extra attention it needed. Communication was brilliant and their attitude friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is so easy at their shop. Having a look into attending one of their workshops in the future. A great find.

Recently bought a new sewing machine. I was able to book a demonstration where I tried different machines to find the one I liked. Learnt some useful tips. There was no pressure and it was great to feel comfortable and given plenty of time to work out what I wanted. Katie listened to what I wanted from a machine and made useful suggestions.

Excellent service. I used K & B sewing machines when I had an unexpected problem with my machine and a project to finish. A service and clean up at a reasonable cost and I was good to get started again! I would definitely recommend them and go back if my machine required attention again.

I first visited k&b to get an old machine serviced as I had a sewing project to do. I hadn’t sewn for years and ended up getting a new machine as well. I like the fact I got shown how to use the machine as part of buying it. I have also since purchased an overlocker from there too and now don’t know how I ever managed without it. The courses are fabulous and there is something for beginners and advanced. Everyone is really friendly and they love sharing their knowledge. I’m looking forward to joining a couple more workshops next year.

Really enjoyed the beginners sewing course. Great teaching, patience and promotion of a ‘can do’ attitude towards sewing. Can’t wait to do more courses with K and B Sewing. I’m inspired thank you

Popped in to get my sewing machine serviced. Really friendly staff and could access the shop even though I’m a wheelchair user. Prices were competitive and my machine works like a dream now! Can’t wait to find a course to do soon - so many to chose from and on so many days/times that I should easily find one to suit work/children. Would love to see some parent and child workshops to get my tween daughter into crafting.

Such an amazing shop/ workshop. My first visit I was welcomed with a lovely smile. I love love love this little shop, very cosy, beautiful displays of many craft kits. Perfect place to buy the perfect gifts for all those budding sewing / crafters. Lots more than meets the eye!! Sewing and craft classes and also they services and repair your sewing machines and to top it all off they sell the most beautiful sewing machines you will ever need .

Took my overlocker in for repair as stopped working, not been used in over one year. Katie telephoned me to explain that despite having spent 4 hours trying to diagnose the problem it appeared that the motor had gone and would be more than it was worth to repair. Put me in touch with a retailer who had a deal on for a new machine and it's being delivered tomorrow. When asked what the charge would be for the time spent so far I was told there was no charge as they hadn't been able to repair. Now that is what I call excellent customer service and you now have one very loyal customer. I will bring all my machines to you in the future for service. Thank you so much

If you LOVE your sewing machine, or want to love your machine, then this is where to take it. My dressmaking machine wasn't very happy, I just didn't know quite unhappy until Katie took a look 'under the covers'. Now I have a machine that behaves like it says in the adverts and I promise not to feed it cheap thread ever again. In all seriousness, K&B are a lovely family business. So open, honest, genuine and supportive. They are willing to go that extra mile to support local business and the local community. I'm looking forward to spending more time there in sewing social or at one of her many workshops!
