Having enjoyed Emily’s copper bowl course I approached her to help me explore how I could turn Dinky Houses from clay into metal. Emily came up with a structure which not only helped me achieve the dream but taught me new skills along the way. We explored different wax forms, casting, developed a range of finishes and more. The whole process was really enjoyable and interesting. Emily taught me so much and I’ll be forever grateful for her help with Dinky Houses. I can’t recommend Emily enough as a passionate creative teacher. She also has biscuits.

Emily was a pleasure to deal with and understood fully the look I was trying to achieve. I wanted a particularly vintage feel to the earrings she was making and she totally achieved the look I was after. Her attention to detail was lovely and I ended up with just what I wanted. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Emily has created a bespoke piece for me which was perfect, understanding what I wanted out of a piece while also putting her unique touch. I have also purchased a set of earrings and Christmas ornament from her directly and I couldn't be happier with them. Emily is so responsive and so quick with the deliveries.
What a wonderful experience having Emily make a new/larger wedding ring for me. I am the proud owner of the Catharsis ring. I love this design. I am presently going through a huge life change and I wanted something that would help me recognise my strength, when I may falter. The catharsis ring is doing this. It is such a beautiful, fluid design, that has a nice weight to it. The customer service is second to none, and it is wonderful to connect with a creator who is passionate about her work, and has a strong social conscience. From the initial ordering, through the sizing help and support to receiving it, I cannot recommend The Metal smith enough.
