I had asked for them to hols some wool rather than use click and collect. Staff agreed and when I turned up, they remembered my name and request. Brilliant customer service
The staff were brilliant today, a young assistant talked me through what was needed for a novice oil painter without pressure to buy all and sundry. The till staff member was great, signing me up for 10% reduction, she took the time to tell me the benefits of having a hobby craft card. Really good service
Great store. Have been coming here for years and they offer the best range of art and craft supplies in the city at a affordable price. I would recommend.
Took my wife and daughter there for some wool. Found everything they needed, and puzzle at half price. It was quite busy but check out was quick. Parking was ok.
Great selection of materials and all kinds of arts and crafts but the staff are like robots; cold, stand-offish and look down their noses at everyone. Thought it was maybe just a one off but visited again today and it was the same thing. All of them look like they’re being held against their will and have yet to see one of them smile. One lady asked about the post office and was shut down immediately with a very haughty ‘not open yet’ as if she should already know this when there were no obvious signs to tell her otherwise, and even then the staff member never informed her that it opens tomorrow, I only know this from other reviews. Such a shame because it’s the only one we have local and my gran loves it but the unfriendly demeanor of the staff really does bring it down.
Really friendly and helpful staff! I asked someone where a fairly specific product was and she took me to it immediately. The lady at the checkout also explained the benefits of the Hobbycraft Card very thoroughly. The price for everything was very reasonable! Excellent experience, I will be coming back.
Although a little bit harder to park, due to the volume of visitors to the store/garden centre. The staff greeting at the door was very welcoming and helpful. So much to choose from for the gifts of craft making for all ages. Great displays and sensible pricing. My daughter and I had a very enjoyable relaxing two hours viewing and buying. Excellent place
The seasonal display is always good and gives great inspiration. The staff have knowledge of the store and can help you find things. But for those who cannot find staff, or prefer to shop alone, finding the isle for you is a bit hard. I wanted a specific item, and I had to walk through half the shop to find it, by myself that is. Can be a bit pricey for some things, but expect it
Lovely friendly, inclusive staff. Absolute pleasure to chat with while they serve and very good with the kids when I bring them in with me too. My only criticism is how tight all the parking spaces are - but not a problem if you go when it's quieter!
