   We stayed here for a short break as a base to visit the New Forest. It's a lovely comfortable, modern cottage with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The cottage sleeps 5 and is spread over 3 floors. There is off-road parking for two cars. A village shop and pub is nearby and there is a well provisioned co-op supermarket a short drive away. Thoroughly recommend Buttercup Cottage as a place to stay.

   The cottage is, and looked idyllic on the website, but it was REALLY disappointing to arrive to find the view spoiled by scaffolding and even more disappointing to be woken up by workmen. Beautiful place and beautiful cottage. Immaculately clean, but if you book wanting to look out at the hills, you can't. It's such a shame. Website needs updating to make people aware before arrival.

   A lovely stay in a beautiful cottage, with all the facilities you would need. The only downside we found was the building work on the property to the rear, which looks like it will block a lot of the beautiful view to the rear.

   Spotlessly clean, feels brand new. Compact accommodation, clever design and beautifully finished. Expensive for 2 nights as you are required to leave property by 9am. We negotiated getting in on day of arrival before the permitted 5pm. Lovely flowers on table and welcome chocolates. Even provided small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and dishwasher tablets. If you like a firm bed sleep in the attic room.
