I was in a queue for 10 minutes which was not a problem. The store opened up another till , said "Would you like to came to this till and four people behind me rushed in front. I expect this of other supermarkets but not the COOP. In case of feedback Belper COOP 7.11.23 about 16.40 . In case you have cameras.
A big shout out for Pat at the kiosk in the co-op in belper. We went for an international driving license - she had never issued one before and she was very nervous. She took a big breath and did an excellent job all with a smile on her face. What a great employee to have! Thank you Pat!
Nice sized coop in Belper, friendly staff. Also a post office located in the building. Not as cheap as some other supermarkets but good quality products.
Very convenient for general everyday needs. Also has the post office here which is extremely convenient for cash transactions considering there are no banks left in belper. I always find the staff very pleasant. Although I do feel that sometimes they are under staffed and long queue times are possible. That said it is never really that bad. Public toilets outside and free parking for shoppers and a good disabled access
Great store - but why can’t they show more community spirit and allow people to park longer than 1.5 hours after they close at 8pm? This would really support evening businesses in Belper at no cost to the store. I’ve just received a £60 fine for going twenty minutes over when the store was shut and the car park was empty!
Automatic Doors Drive you mad squeaky noise reported to staff but unfortunately it's not in their pay grade. Only One Automatic Teller Machine when it works. Morrison's have Two machine's when working. Big Issue Seller outside store Entrance sometimes outside Poundland does she or he have a license to be there.
Normally fine, this is for Sunday 11 December 2022. Was refused entry at 3.50PM on Sunday because they were closing early "for sickness and couldn't close on their own". 3 staff left after 4 pm looking fine and chirpy. I'd made effort to get there in time before closing.

Good store with many items to choose from. A bit more expensive than other stores, it's quite centrally located with post office and clothing store inside. Good store to visit.
This Co-op is really good for topping up the weekly shop or those weekday evenings when you need a few items. Unfortunately this place is expensive on quite a few items but they do have deals on at times that are quite good. I don't think I'd do my weekly shop here as Aldi is much cheaper. They have a large selection of goods to choose from however this been been reduced over recent years and reduced further do to the recent changes to the building that now includes a Burton Menswear. The staff here are the loveliest bunch of people i've ever met in a supermarket. Always friendly and chatty. I you are need a few items and are in the town centre I would recommend.
