Beautiful lush grass, leading down to Southampton Water and river Hamble. Not very busy most times of the day. Makes a great fresh air walk.
A very good place to watch the world go by on the Hamble River, some great views. A great place to walk the dog.
Lovely open space with splendid views of Southampton Water. Not far away is the Rising Sun Public House and the site where many allied troops departed to Normandy in 1944. There are not public toilets here but if you go to Shore Lane carpark there are. Parking on the shore is £1 an hour.
Its a big field over looking Southampton Water and the River Hamble. You will get good view of liners coming in and out. Good position to wave to you friends on board ship by the seat in the middle of the field need a very large flag to be spotted from the ship as you be a dot on the landscape. You need to communicate via mobile phone and tell them to find the very large WHITE house behind the seat on the right. Very popular with dog walkers
Love this place , didn't knew it existed until recently. Plenty of space for a dog to run around, and views are just astonishing. It was a bit cold and windy when visited last but I am almost certain, once weather improves ,it be just perfect. Not forget to mention a fish and seafood van on Saturdays. 2 in 1 - just perfect
Amazing field! Dogs are allowed and it is soooo big! It is slightly on a hill so you can see cruises go by (I saw the Queen Mary II) and people can sit down or really do whatever. Right next to The Rising Sun pub, dog-friendly and great if you want a drink or a snack.
Kids just found broken glass everywhere apart from that nice area.
