   I forgot to review this last month, the food was underwhelming, the steak was chewy and when tried by my partner assumed to be a bad cut, even when taking the waiter's recommendation of how well done to have it. The bread was really nice, but the sides with the steak didn't arrive very hot. The tables in the restaurant are all really close together in the main area. Drinks are pretty reasonably priced. I'm not sure I'd return to be honest. The waiter was absolutely lovely, I'll edit the review with their name if I find the receipt because he does deserve praise. The toilets are also downstairs, beside the kitchen which you can see into on your way into the bathroom, how that isn't a violation of some sort of food safety I do not know but it certainly didn't help.

   A small bistro restaurant (corner shop), offering venison among others. No booking required, although you’d be safer if you did due to its small size (no more than 10 small tables, perhaps).

   Food was absolutely amazing. I was back in Aberdeen after a hill walk outside the city late in the afternoon and decided to reserve a table here on a whim. It was the odd hour between lunch and dinner so naturally it wasn't busy at all. Had seabass pan-fried over a veloute and pressed rice, absolutely beautiful and delicious. Dessert was fantastic, chocolate mousse over berries compote and tuile. What I quite love is the portion is perfect, I didn't feel too much at all, a healthy portion.

   Very cosy restaurant in Rosemount, the service was so lovely and helpful! All the food was very fresh and absolutely delicious. The beef brisket, tofu and sticky toffee pudding were absolute highlights of our dinner! We will 100% recommend visiting.

   We visited on Friday at 5:30 PM and had the entire restaurant to ourselves for the duration of our visit. The food was good—we shared the scallops starter, followed by the duck breast and beef fillet for our mains. Everything was well presented and tasted great. We also tried a couple of cocktails, which were okay but could have been better. The biggest disappointment was the service. We received virtually no service at all. The two young waiters spent the entire time chatting among themselves and showed little interest in attending to us. At one point, I had the drinks menu open when they came over to check on the food. My glass was empty, yet they didn’t even ask if we wanted another drink. For the next 30 minutes, both my wife and I sat with empty glasses, and we were never approached or asked if we wanted anything else. While we enjoyed the food, service is a crucial part of the dining experience. When it’s poor or nonexistent, we personally don’t return. Shame when a chef is let down by their service crew. If our experience is the norm, then it will kill their business and explains why there no one is there for early sitting.

   Went for lunch with a group of friends, restaurant is cosy and has a really nice ambiance. Food was delicious, the Cullen Skink was extra creamy and probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. Pan seared sea bream was amazing, crispy and tasty with lots of crayfish underneath. Good selection of cocktails for afterwards too! Only niggle was the toilets downstairs (perhaps something to bear in mind if less mobile) the could probably do with a bit of an overhaul but on the whole it doesn’t detract from the great experience upstairs.

   Excellent food, wonderful service, and a beautiful restaurant. Definitely a great addition to Rosemount and a must-visit. We really enjoyed our evening here and will definitely be back soon; we need to try the lunch menu!
