   Booked the private dining area for 25 people mid-week. Staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Everyone was very happy with their food - beautifully presented and wonderful flavours. Although many menu items have dairy, we were able to request in our pre-order vegan versions of the veggie dishes. We had a birthday in our group and they accommodated this very well and made a fuss of her. Highly recommend this restaurant!

   Amazing authentic Indian cuisine with an exceptional variety of vegetarian options. Simran was an absolutely proficient server who went above & beyond to ensure we had the best experience service. Quite possibly the best Indian restaurant in Aberdeen - don’t pass by it.

   I’m from India and came to Aberdeen for office work. After trying several restaurants around the city, I can say that 8848 Restaurant is the best so far! Their Veg Thali and other dishes are absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors and great variety. I also tried Travancore, but honestly, all the dishes there tasted very similar, which was a bit disappointing. If you're in Aberdeen and craving Indian food, I highly recommend 8848 for a satisfying and tasty experience!

   What a delight!! The place was jam packed and on a January night it's great to see!! Service was engaging and always a member of the team around. The menu is varying and has something for everyone.... make sure the chilli numbers are noted on the menu as the food can certainly pack a punch. Still, the flavours are able to come through. Whatever the green spiced sauce is on the starters needs to be immediately bottled and sold, it's certainly a condiment that I can see going with any savoury dish, so annoyed I forgot to ask!!! Great food, simply cooked with no fuss and an immaculately clean restaurant.

   Fabulous Indian food! And excellent friendly service. Only two minor suggestions:- 1) The main dish was delivered a little too quickly, which made me feel like I had to rush my appetizer a little. 2) For me, the lighting was a little too bright. But I appreciate that this might not be an issue for others. Overall impression was great. I would easily recommend this restaurant to others.

   I ordered a delivery so didn't experience service or the atmosphere. It was like a game of buckaroo in my mouth. Continuously providing a hit of taste endorphins. With every mouthful I was taking I was assured that I hadn't tasted anything as good previously and the high I got in anticipation of the end result just reassuring. The taste, texture and smells coming from the food were delicious, the rice was perfect and the colours were vibrant. Excellent choice

   Was recommended to by a friend and took my partner and his parents there. I have never had an Indian so good, and his parents who have been to India on multiple occasions said the food was exactly like it was over there. will 100-percent be back and extremely highly recommend. the only downside was albeit the food was extremely fresh it was a while to wait for it as it was being prepared at that time.

   Very nice food, the staff were very friendly and the interior decor was nice. You wouldn’t think from the exterior of the restaurant but one of the nicest curries I’ve had. The rice tasted fresh and the curry not greasy at all. Naan was crispy, and I normally like it fluffy but not a big deal. The waiter was really talented, being able to carry all of our plates in one go in his arms. Pricy, but definitely recommend. Well done 8848!
