   Very close to the worst kebab shop I have ever encountered. The kebab was expensive and left so much to be desired. Bought a large donner, this consisted of meat, bread and pickled cabbage, that was it. The staff that I spoke to seemed OK but his micro manager was there to add an extremely bad taste to the interaction. Definitely will not be going again, such a shame.

   Unfortunately it seems the Dalyan chain accross the island are now struggling with both their quality of food, and poor management, if the previous reviews at each takeaway establishment and their poorly worded responses by the 'owner' is anything to go by, stay well clear. Dalyan used to be my go to takeaway restaurant for both kebabs and pizza, and aside from the ups and downs in food quality, a big turn off for me was the treatment both in person, and over the phone, from their staff, which can be reflected in quite a few of the responses seen on google reviews, however ultimately when something goes wrong with dalyan food, it really does go wrong, and if you bother to report it to them, in a friendly manner, you're immediately met with aggressive denial. I do hope dalyan can sort their management and resturant team out, otherwise i don't see them being able to continue as they currently are. If you're looking for a kebab, pizza or other takekway, i would strongly reccomend going to one of the other many options on the island with much better reviews. EDIT: Recently tried Dalyan again, got a donner meat and chips and was actually the worse i've had. The chips were poorly cooked fish & chip style chips, and the lamb donner was swimming in so much grease, that even holding the box with the grease proof paper around it, it was going absolutely everywhere. Safe to say with that much grease, my stomach wasn't all that great after the meal, and for £12 pound, it was absurdly expensive, i can get the same size lamb donner box with better quality chips in Newport, for £9. That's £3 cheaper, and better quality.

   I'm not normally a big fan of kebab shops but this one surprised me. Food was really nice, had a kebab, wasn't even drunk and it still tasted good. The staff in there were nice and the wait wasn't to long at all. I live in Newport so I used to go to the kebab shop in the High Street, well dalyans smashed them out of the water, I look forward to going back next time I'm in cowes.

   There is no dine in. The food was great. I ordered chicken nuggets where as my husband had a lamb kebab which was served along with really fresh salad. There isn't written 'halal' anywhere in or outside this shop. But the chef claims the lamb and chicken stuff to be halal.

   Worst I’ve ever had! I used to enjoy kebabs from here but the quality of the meat is really bad now! Also I picked 7 hairs out of my donner meat which made me feel really sick! I know you don’t go to a kebab house for superior quality food but that was terrible. I never usually review anywhere but so many hairs in the food is unacceptable. My partner came in to get my food and felt really uncomfortable as the staff were really rude and she felt unwelcome in there. We will never go back and I hope this review helps others to avoid making the same mistake!

   Prices have recently gone up. Portion sizes and ingredient quality have gone down at the same time. One or the other would be understandable during these turbulent times, but both at once is very disheartening. I've been eating here regularly for years, and would prefer to think the place is struggling financially, rather than deliberately cutting corners. I hope to see a return of good value or decent quality soon.
