   Always been great here for 3 years but for this month food and taste isn't the same. Or maybe i bought a bad sushi roll or the one who cooks is annual leave. Dont know but deffo changed

   The kimchi rice tasted absolutely awful, I couldn't eat it. I love kimchi and have had this dish before elsewhere, but this just tasted like rotting vegetables. Kimchi is fermented, yes, but it straight up just tasted gone-off. Didn't have time to go back and ask about it bc I was on a short lunch break. The prices are quite high for Chichester as well.

   My boyfriend had a meal on Tuesday afternoon in Chichester Kokoro. He had a severe food poisoning after. Unfortunately he had to call sick and stay at home. I believe this incident is caused by bad food hygiene in the restaurant, possibly lack of staff training and neglectful attitude of workers. I hope this review will help other customers to avoid bad experience.

   I visited Kokoro on Tuesday and purchased a Katsu Curry. By the following morning, I became extremely unwell with what turned out to be a severe case of food poisoning. This left me bedridden for the day, forced me to call in sick to work, and caused me to lose income as a result. I’ve always enjoyed dining out and rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. I strongly urge Kokoro to review their food safety and hygiene practices, particularly with items like Katsu Curry that are prone to contamination if not stored or prepared correctly. Food should never leave customers feeling this unwell. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no one should have to go through what I did after a simple takeaway meal.

   Recently popped in for some sushi. Brought £25 worth for me and my wife share and the large boxes only had 1 small sachet of soy sauce in each. Asked if it was possible to get some more and told that the only way they would provide another sachet was if I brought one for 70p. Yes that little sachet you see if the picture was 70p! Thought it must have been a mistake on the cashiers part so I emailed their customer services. 4 days later no response so I can only assume it wasn't a mistake and they really don't care about their customer. Highly recommended finding somewhere else to eat!

   Hands down the only reason i go into Chichester town which is kinda overpriced and pompus generally. Sweet Chilli Chicken at Kokoro is just amazing and the staff are friendly and even remember our order giving things a personal touch. Can't express how great this little place is. Chi best secret ;D

   On the 12th May, at 15:48 I have bought 3 (mix & match) chicken katsu & sweet chili with rice but sadly we did not get to enjoy our meals. We travelled from Portsmouth to Chichester (because we 'used' to love Kokoro) to get our self dinner for tonight but it was not cooked properly because it was still in purple ish (I have provided images). I am aware they are franchise but I am also worried that they are hiring people without training or not following the health and safety rules while operating in the food industry. Working in food industry is not all about placing the frozen chicken in the oven and setting timer then serving it to the customer at the end, should be checked and pass the quality checks etc. although; I am sure they are going to say '' we are checking '' but pictures don't lie: I personally won't be visiting KOKORO again and same as my friends and family too.
