I’m really disappointed with Waitrose. My Christmas turkey — something you plan and look forward to — wasn’t available when I went to collect it on 24th December. The Havant store couldn’t offer any replacement, and the staff member trying to help clearly didn’t know what was going on. I ended up visiting M&S, Tesco, Aldi and Morrisons, and couldn't get a turkey anywhere. What makes it worse is the silence afterwards. For a supermarket known for its service, I expected at least an apology or explanation. Over a week later, I’ve heard nothing. Sadly, I can’t trust Waitrose for click‑and‑collect entertaining orders anymore.

As I have been in hospital and not up to doing a lot of cooking my son was looking to buy some ready cooked rice to go with a curry we had. He asked a very rude man assistant who spoke down to him saying oh no we don't have things like that. No need to speak to a customer in such a rude manner. Quite funny really as I never normally buy that sort of thing anyway. Got some in marks and Spencer no judgement.

I been shopping in Waitrose Havant since they opened. I’m getting disappointed with products not being available. Today I couldn’t get unsmoked streaky bacon, ceaser salad dressing and large eggs also small cucumber.

20/5/2025 Surprisingly today selling February item on shelf. Look likely doesn't care to customers health issue 4/3/2025 update Today I when to this branch for some snacks unfortunately the shelf has expired item and I had been given 3 time chance to make it right, First time I take the bag to counter to inform them the item was expired a month ago Second time I hand over to a staff n inform them the item was expired over a month and I do think the item was put it back without checking it as the same date as the first time. Third time over two week and had informed the staff. Today is fourth time the item is over a week expired and I had taken pictures as evidence as I been rudely treated last time it’s my responsibility to make sure I didn’t buy expired item n what I realised is the expired item is on the back Dear customer please don’t think Waitrose will move the oldest out n refill the longer life at the back anymore as they don’t do this service anymore so is our responsibility to check as the customer service told me n beware rudely service will be provided. I recently shop at this area but unfortunately buy one day expired item without know it n have to drive back for return. When I was asking it’s should be a discount label for almost expired date item? mostly when I saw this label I will not buy cause I know I unable to finish before the deadline n I was told the label is a day before n she say not to waste but how come the food I brought didn’t have the label? I definitely believe the day I return the expired item still on the shelf, I been shopping with Waitrose for many years n I know the only shop will take the old out n refill the new at the back but look like things been changing. I also been told the expired date is my responsibility to make sure to buy. What I understand is not my responsibility I it shouldn’t be happening.

Waitrose is Waitrose always good and much more competitive now , which is good for every one. I miss Waitrose our's was sadly closed a couple of years ago. A lot of people miss it . I miss the lovely staff and the nice people we would meet and chat to while having a coffee .

Nice shop let down by the security guard who appeared to go out of his way to make me and my family feel unwelcome in the alcohol section yesterday. He couldn't have been more obvious about it, but all this did was deter me from purchasing the 2 rather expensive bottles of spirits that led me to go there in the first place.
