Been to Asda bilton only ever one on tills checkout staff all over stood talking ask one if could open another till as lots waiting she was not helpful just said no I'm on self service I ask one male where the raisin are for snack he just dont know thanks for that alot of old waiting for checkout as I said only one on fumming
Online grocery collection is very slow. Staffs always have bad attitude and they don’t have sense of urgency. They will make you wait for hours for nothing.
This store has hit rick bottom, no changing room facilities so have to go back and forth. The stock levels are non existent and you need to wait longer to be helped at self checkout then it takes to shop. We have now moved to Tesco for our shop and it's a million times better.
It's a well stocked shop with various items from household goods, clothing, opticians to car and obviously food. Personally I'd like a bigger section for garden/house plants instead of things being seasonal - these areas are not seasonal if you are an avid gardener. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place has plenty of parking for all. There is also an onsite garage (card payment - no kiosk).
It isn't entirely the stores fault. Corporate pushed all these self service checkouts and us customers aren't cashiers so we're not as quick, things go wrong and then you're waiting for a member of staff to notice you to help in the crowded areas. There's so many out of stock items it's ridiculous. Shelf edge prices are often different once you get to your self service till but who is going to join the mammoth queue at customer service or flag down the ladies who were having a natter amongst the chaos. I have so much sympathy for those poor staff on the manned checkouts who have queues down the aisles with people getting narky with them when they're doing their best. Customer service has gone out the window with half the stock deliveries. Also, imagine trying to navigate the store and the busy checkout area which isn't that clearly laid out if you're neurodiverse. Finally, a manager and 2 other staff putting confectionery out whilst it's that busy along with stock cages. There's barely room for customers. Please bring back customer service and more manned checkouts.
I thought I left my mob at the store today Thursday 8/3/23. Having back tracked my moves in the store the ASDA WORKER who was operating CCTV in front of store very kindly tracked my moves from the check out, and it was confirmed I took my card out paid, put it bk in my phone cover, put my phone in my coat pkt and left store. Thank you for taking the time to look through you cctv. Yes! I later found my phone in the car! Relief. Once again Thank you!
What an awful place Asda is now. Call Centre rubbish, can't talk to store anymore, they've hidden their Head Office telephone number so you are forced through the call centre, who can barely speak english. What was once a half decent supermarket has gone down the drain. Don't buy anything from them, especially not online, they will take the money from your bank, miss items from your order and refuse to refund you, utter shysters!
Good selection of food and in a nice location, probably one of the best ASDAs in the Hull area I have been to. Can be pricey but ASDA generally is but also has some good deals and offers too. Quite spaced out and had a good layout also
