Love Lidl altogether. Especially bakery:) And this particular brand is excellent. Customers service is great and the shelves are never empty for long at busy times.

These stores layout and smell always remind me of visiting mainland Europe. They have a fairly standard layout and carry a range of competitively priced own label and some branded goods. There bakery is very nice. They are not a one stop shop for all your items unless you taylor your purchases to the store availablity. Very large carpark accessed easily. Public transport via stop a short walk away on Hessle Road near the flyover. I think the stagecoach number 1 is the best option. The store accepts cash and card. It is one of the newer larger stores with in-store bakery and the usual central isle weekly offers. I like the occasional one off lines they have presumably from elsewhere in Europe

Great for food shopping and great offers on line and plenty of vegetarian meals staff very helpful and polite
It's great, except why can't we just have a normal sized shopping basket???
Seemed a nice shop when I first went in but on closer inspection some of the fruit was rotten and needed sorting out. The meat looked nice but price wise not much different from Asda. There was no area for free from food which means I won't be going back.
