Happy to sack staff when they are young without prior intervention. Offer extra days work when they haven't got the staff, as soon as they find a replacement they are gone. Staff talking behind others' backs, discussing who is next in line for the chop. Not allowed to talk to family members without being given a warning. Give your staff a real introduction and training rather than getting rid every 2/3 months. Feeling like you are on egg shells 24/7 is not the way to run a happy work environment. Threatening a seventeen year old with a bad reference after he has been sacked and stood up for himself is disgusting and illegal. Happy staff will want to go above and beyond. Unfortunately, with the staff over turn, nobody is safe with this place unless you are lucky enough to become a favourite. Would you like to be told you are sacked then go back in to said work place to clean? Would you like to be told you are let go after the day has finished just so they could make their life easier and have enough staff on that day? Credit where it is due. Wages were always paid on time and the jacket potatoes are awesome, and the scenery is beautiful outside.

I cannot recommend pasture Wood fisheries enough, the owners are really friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was amazing with comfy beds, towels quilts pillows all cooking equipment we needed and more, also we were 6 foot from from 1 of the lakes and the view is amazing from waking up to last thing at night, the only noise is wildlife and wind through the trees and reeds, the people fishing the lake are also friendly, and there is tackle hire available if you fancy taking on one of the lakes, there is also a cafe on site which is very clean and quite big and you can see the food being cooked in front of you, I went with my 3 children and they had an amazing time getting back to nature, cant wait to go back again,
