   We booked a Christmas meal for our walking group of 20 here today. From start to finish we had a fantastic experience, the lads waiting on were professional and helpful. Josh in the Kitchen did a super job, the food was delicious, hot and timely. Good portions especially the Prawn cocktail. We had the back room to ourselves, provided with crackers and Christmas music. We left very happy. Would recommend a visit to anyone. There a lot of events on offer over in The Blue Bell the next few weeks that we are definitely interested in .

   Had a catch up evening with some friends, food was lovely, & reasonably priced, can't say much about the atmosphere, as we were in early (5pm) & we sat in the eatery, rather than the bar area. So only our party in there. We did all say that next time, we would probably eat in the bar area, as it did look a little more inviting. Nice little pub, with nice home cooked dishes, will be returning. Parking was just on street parking, but plenty of spaces on the roadside.

   We held an event here in the function room they have to hire and it was brilliant. Organised it all via message on Facebook and they were great at getting back to me. On the day, the room is lovely, it has some indoor and some outdoor spaces. There is a tv that we put some pictures on which was a nice touch. And the food was excellent, really good quality buffet food. They kept filling it up as well, there was more than plenty food wise, nobody went hungry.

   We went for a Sunday roast. I’ve struggled to find places that are up to scratch in terms of getting a good roast. This place was spot on. I had the beef and it was cooked perfectly, a lovely medium rare cut of topside. The chicken and pork was also very good!

   Couldn't fault the efficiency of the friendly staff and the food was excellent. Very generous with portions. Our evening was spoilt with a large party seated near our table who were extremely loud and we found it difficult to converse with each other. This however was not the fault of the restaurant management and would recommend a visit.
