I've been going to The Briny for their £1 Oyster Night for years, and it never disappoints! The service is top-notch - the staff make you feel like you're at home, always attentive and friendly. The food, of course, is the star of the show, with succulent oysters and impeccable quality that's always consistent. It's more than just a meal, it's an experience that leaves you feeling happy and wanting to come back for more. If you haven't tried it, trust me, you need to get there! Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

Probably the best place I ate while in London. Only had small bites, but the food was incredible. Tried some things I’ve never heard of before. The staff were also so friendly and helpful as we started our travel in Portsmouth! We mentioned we loved the strawberries so they added extra to our cheesecake. And our view was fabulous.

After 2 hours hiking we came to the restaurant for lunch. The location is very good as it is close to the beach. We ordered steak, roasted cod and chocolate cremeux, the taste are ok, but the portion are small. not value for money for the price they charged. When we entered the restaurant it was less than half full, the waitress quickly came and took our order, but the bar and kitchen were very very slow, not recommend when you are very hungry.

Amazing service from Lennon today. We sat outside in the hot sun and warm breeze. Beautiful day which just added to our experience. Three of us had drinks, 3 small plates, 3 "puddings" and 2 coffees with liqueurs. £45 per head including tip. Beautiful food and well flavoured and presented. Staff could not be more helpful with 1 of us having an allergy. They accommodated this menu choice by a variation at their suggestion which chef achieved fantastically. Over and above service. I wouldn't hesitate to go to The Briny again. Fabulous

catch of the day was whole sea bass, meat very bitter close to the head I would recommend this fish to be cleaned properly before cooking. It’s a seafood restaurant and expect more experience. Specially when you charge £24. We informed the waiter but they didn’t care. Should I come back? Don’t think so…

I was expecting the typical cliche restaurant by the beach with a great location but with average food. I was completely wrong. Service was amazing and the food was so fresh and delicious. So good that we were staying in the area for the weekend and went there for dinner and the next day for lunch and did not regret it.

Breakfast at the briny this morning. A beautiful sunny day so breakfast on the seafront was an ideal way to start the day. We booked ahead and were greeted by the host who was friendly and chatty and found a better table than booked which was great. Drinks were ordered just after sitting down. Menu was pretty diverse. Prices a little higher than average but unsurprising given the location. Food was tasty and fresh and service friendly although we did have 5 different people taking our orders and delivering food and drinks and payment. Venue itself was clean and well laid out with plenty of inside and outside seating as well as table, bar and pass seats depending on what sort of experience you wanted with your food. On a sunny day a nice place to stop.

We went on holiday at the beach and fortunately we discovered this gem for our brunch. The place has a beautiful sea view and it is welcoming inside. The service is well organise and so attentive - they split their responsibilities to bring food and drinks without any waiting time. - The food was superb and well presented. Furthermore, the quality was fresh and really good portion. I recommended the “The Briny Breakfast”. One of the best brunch that I have ever eaten.

Invited by my son and his girlfriend to join them here. Great place, great food and great ambiance. Starters of Crab and Pork Belly were both taste sensations. My Baked Cod with chickpeas and bacon was mouthwatering and gone to soon... to finsh a medley of puddings - great raspberry brioche, but the best was the plain chocolate and ice cream... the price was steep... but for once, worth it!!! Highly recommend...!!!
