Amazing experience! Amazing food! The best staff! -the chef even came to check how our food was which we thought was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back. Such a lovely chilled atmosphere and we weren’t rushed at all. Honestly such a great experience.
Only ever had take-away from Kadir’s. Food is always fantastic - being from Birmingham I’m very particular about Indian food and Kadir’s cuisine always hits the spot. Service is excellent and if there are any issues they’re always quick to put things right. A superb restaurant
Firstly, there are many great Indian restaurants in Southsea, particularly on Albert Road! Secondly, to specifically focus on Kadir’s this is probably the most authentic Indian food I have ever had and continue to have. Whilst I try to utilise all the restaurants at different times, this is the go to for me if I have friends round or we want to have a really nice takeaway or eat in. The flavours are excellent they just hit the spot every time and the best for me as I don’t get stomach issues the next day if you know what I mean. I am very sensitive, so this speaks volumes of how good the ingredients must be and the cooking process, also to add there are so many great options, especially for us being vegetarian, they are fantastic. We have meat eater in the household also who says their meat is cooked fantastically well. Highly recommend and always good to go back again to try some other options too!
I work near Kadir's and never tried the food before tonight. Wow! Some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted outside of India. Great menu, with food delivered in just over half an hour. OK, I'm only 2 doors away :) It was so delicious. No generic curry sauce here; every individual flavour stood out. Highly recommended. Kadir's just gained a new customer. Deb Forrest.

Been going here to meet up with mates once a month for the last 4 months. We were going to go to a different place each month but the food is amazing, top chef who comes out to make sure we are ok and if we need anything. Can't wait til next month
ordered a takeaway on Uber Eats and was slightly disappointed. the curries (and the veggie samosas!) were delicious, but the servings rather small. we ordered one mighty meal and one separate meal and the curry from mighty meal was much smaller. the complimentary onion chutney was just raw onions in a plastic bag with barely any tomatoes.
Just had a uber eats delivered ( after 1 and a half hours) absolutely shocking quality of food. We ordered x2 wraps, that were really ' sweaty' and ' wet'. The lamb was chewy and overall was very disappointing. This place was recommended, but will definitely never use this place again. Be aware when ordering a take away.
Went to Portsmouth on bank holiday weekend and kids wanted to eat Indian food. We found Kadir’s restaurant. Excellent service and absolutely delicious food. Team respected our individual choices and were happy to make changes like more hot or less hot. I would definitely recommend everyone to go there and enjoy delicious food in very good ambiance.
Hidden Gem! This place is a must for all who want lovely Indian cuisine in a unique setting. Kadir brought us the most delicious vegan blend of authentic spiced deliciousness! The dishes went together perfectly. Can't wait to return! Don't miss out. Very reasonable and take your own drink. Service excellent.
