Celebrated our anniversary last night at Truffles Bistro. The food was outstanding! Would 100% recommend.

Wonderful little resturant. Could not fault the range of dishes, tasty and beautifully presented with careful attention to combining flavours. A fantastic gem! Support this lovely business. Give it a go' you won't be dissappointed.

Delicious food! The lady who served us was very friendly, too. The restaurant is atmospheric and has a very distinct feel. Came here to celebrate a birthday and would highly recommend!

This restaurant is superb. I loved every bite. I had a friendly and courteous welcome from the waitress and the food was delicious. Each dish was art on a plate and the flavours were just right. The only thing I could slightly fault was the Brownie dessert. The texture was not quite right but the flavour was nice. The red wine was fantastic and the desert wine was very nice too. It was a tiny bit cold inside the restaurant when I arrived. Luckily they sat me next to a radiator so I soon warmed up.

We have been here for a wonderful meal before but this time was a huge disappointment where I think the cost of living crisis has impacted the previous high standards and overall dining experience. The restaurant had a musty smell and it was actually quite cold in the restaurant, heating was absent.Took ages to thaw out that night. There was very little atmosphere, no quiet background music on and only one other couple in the restaurant who sat at a table so near, we could hear their conversation and it made us feel like we didn't want to talk. It wasn't a nice, relaxed experience at all. Along with the food, the atmosphere is part of the experience. One lady serves and whilst she is polite and friendly, there was little professionalism, dressed in jeans and jumper, like she had just been shopping, it doesn't fit the image of the restaurant. We all understand child care issues happen but it didn't feel right that the owners child followed mum around whilst serving and the lovely young lady needed attention whilst sat doing her colouring at another table. So, the food, after all that is important: a very limited menu and my first choice wasn't available. Our meal was well presented, smaller than previous portions and a lot of beans as a ratio to meat. Flavour was pleasing . Truffles could be fabulous again but the owners need to quickly reassess if they are to regain repeat custom and not permanently diminish their previous good reputation. Sadly the experience has put us off rebooking.

More than a meal. The service is great, the environment welcoming but the food, oh the food is wonderful. The flavours complement each other rather than overpower. The quantity is enough so you don't feel hungry and you have space for more and did I mention the flavour. The menu is limited but the choices you have are more than enough. If you want chips go to harvester. If you want to experience good food cooked well then Truffles is where you should go

Went here for dinner on a Saturday Night. The restaurant is nicely spaced and offers a small menu of seasonal dishes to meet most dietary requirements. We had 2 very enjoyable starter's and mains :hake absolutely loved it and :pork that was brilliant. All food was beautifully presented and cooked wonderfully. All washed down with a lovely bottle of wine. The cost was very reasonable. We had wonderful dinner, the restaurant can be echoey due to hard floors. Will definitely be looking forward to returning.

Has to be one of the best kept secrets in Fareham. The food was well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Served on a hot plate - great value meal. Will visit again...

My husband found this, and it was amazing. The menu was enough, and they did a midweek special menu. We was made very welcome, service was amazing and food was outstanding. It reminds us of a restaurant in London, price was very good. We will definitely be back with my folks and we look forward to that. Well done to both of you.
