I don't know what has happened to this place but, it used to be superb everytime I would get something, even at the prices charged! Is it coincidental that its quality has dropped so much since the cost of living crisis really kicked in? Who knows.. I'm assuming new management has been the reason. Seeing this on the News website is the final straw for me to stop ordering from here. Please guys, if you read these, sort it out.

Been going to the Fareham branch for a couple of years and sadly it has taken a nose dive in the past year, we've given it the benefit of the doubt a few times and ended up disappointed. Food used to be very high quality but now largely resembles kebab shop style food but at a premium price.

So disappointed in what has happened to this place. We have used them regularly as our go to take away for the few years (we used to love it!) but our last 4/5 orders have been really disappointing. Cold soggy chips and cold burger on several occasions now. One order arrived 90mins early and the last one 40mins late. They used to be great but sad to say we'll be looking for a new take away.

Umami in Fareham is one of my favourite go-to places for when I want something tasty, casual and satisfying. The menu is brilliant, there’s everything from wraps and burgers to impressive platters that are perfect for sharing. Their Piri-Piri chicken is good quality and you can tell it’s fresh, and the shakes/desserts are a great treat to round things off.

I’ve regularly enjoyed meals at Umami’s Southsea restaurant, where the food is consistently excellent. However, ordering takeaway from the Fareham branch has been disappointing. They almost always forget to include the drinks with the kids’ meals, and the last three chicken bubble wraps I ordered were poor—chewy chicken, dry wrap, and barely any jerk sauce, leaving the wrap falling apart on opening. Given the price, I expect the same quality as Southsea, but unfortunately, the Fareham branch doesn’t meet those standards.

5th burger Lebanese style is amazing. Always have great deals even on delivery services. Some of the best milkshake flavours around. Try the rosemary fries. They've made the odd mistake with my orders here and there but have always had a good resolution.

Only given 1 stars as cant give zero. Awful experience, will never ever come here again. Food was freezing cold & burnt. Items were missing. Very very rude staff/manager... Much nicer places locally at better prices and quality!!!

Ordered from here tonight and wrote on delivery note not to add certain things to the burgers and it still came with it all. They gave us the wrong chips and the burgers were cold. When I rang up I was told the food was packed straight away and that he ‘wasn’t going to argue with me’ . Awful service and very disrespectful to customers, basically calling me a liar . Won’t order from here again.

Love this place. Always order an umami burger and piri piri fries. Burger is delicious, unique and good value compared to other takeaways. Fries are crisp and delivery is always quick.

Love the flavour of the burgers - best ever but the last few deliveries have been stone cold. Great for the coleslaw but rubbish for burgers, fries and corn.
