I hired this venue for my sons cristening and lakeside went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. They adjusted the hire times to outside of their usual times and had the venue looking amazing for our little boy. We had so many compliments on how lovely the venue was and beautiful the food was. The staff were very friendly and would recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be returning. Thanks guys!

I can't review the food as we only had a drink in here but I looked god coming out of the kitchen. Such a beautiful location right on a lakeside with great views due to its elevated position. Outside seating on a warm sunny day must be such a treat, we sat in by the window with the heating on a cold winters day and it was still lovely to sit and stare a while. Service was very friendly and efficient, cleanliness was extremely good. The place was nearly full about 1pm with lots of happy atmosphere. I will return onw7day to sample the menu for sure. Car park £1.60 per hour right next to cafe and the town centre across the road.

The meals were sub standard. The chicken curry was so dry it was inedible. As others have said they collect the plates and don’t even ask what was wrong with all the food you return. I passed on my displeasure to a waitress as I left. Stating the curry’s were awful. As I walked to my car the rude owner shouted to me, asking if I have a problem with the food to which I said yes, she then stated I shouldn’t have told the waitress as she was only 15 !! Really, she can work but not pass messages?? The owner was very aggressive and needs some help with running a cafe! Behaved like a fishwife .Awful experience and very expensive. Keep away !!

Travelled all the way from Scotland for a party at this amazing place. Gorgeous setting, fabulous views and an amazing cafe and bar. It made a perfect party venue. Lovely and clean inside, bright and felt spacious, amazing friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. Food for party was a buffet and everything was good quality and really tasty as well as being plentiful. Great little bar, well stocked and very reasonably priced. Outside balcony area with seating was perfect for a little breather and fresh air. The atmosphere inside was terrific and it has a lovely little circular spot which makes a perfect dance floor. Staff were always on the go, keeping everything flowing and clearing. Toilet facilities nice and clean. I cant recommend this place highly enough, best party ever, I can't wait to pop in next time I travel down to try their everyday menu which I was told by regulars is lovely and fresh.

Lived in Gosport many years but never been too this cafe/restaurant. Fabulous place ..bright,spotlessly clean Warm , freindy, welcoming. Staff were exceptional. Prices are amazingly good value . Menu choice is extremely good. The weather was bright n sunny this morning so it made the experience all the more powerful and it highlighted the small but lovely balcony overlooking the model yacht club lake and alver lake .. In conversation with staff and manager I discovered you can actually hire the cafe out of an evening . It caters for 20-45 people ranging from approx £10 per head upwards . I strongly recommend you try this cafe but it is popular so I would suggest you phone ahead . Please Note .... ATMO they only take Cash Payments..

Some really great food here. I recommend the full English. Sit outside on the balcony watch the model boats in the boating lake whilst you enjoy breakfast. Take cash with you as they don’t accept cards which is the only down side.

Stopped here for breakfast and was very impressed. There big breakfast is big well cooked bacon, comes with toast and a tea or coffee and not expensive at £7.20. Service was efficient and the place clean and welcoming with views over a boating lake. Parking is possible on the road or in the car park and the place is fully accessible to all.
