Fantastic chip shop. I live in Worthing, work in Brighton and this shop has the best gluten free cod and chops anywhere I've been. My partner lives in Gosport and I always pop in when I'm down. The food is great as is the service. Everyone who works here are is friendly and helpful.
The best fish and chips! Cod and haddock cooked perfectly in a delicious crispy batter. Mushy peas are nice and the chips are too. Excellent gluten-free options. Huge portions! Lovely people.
Excellent fish chips, everything freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. very popular business, lots of loyal customers. happy to be able to use my debit card, bit of a rarity these days. Lots of parking spaces, fantastic.
Visited the place last week. Quick service. Fish and chips, and scampi and chips were very nicely cooked. Fish was not oily at all. It had a nice texture. The batter was perfectly crisp and light - just right. The scampi was pure meat with no fillers. Portions are good size too. The ladies that served us were very polite and friendly. We were very happy with the food and I am sure we will be coming back soon.
A great experience with great food. I have a tenancy to order a lot of food, due to the number of people I have to feed. They were completely unfazed by the large order, and prepared it quickly and efficiently, whilest also not neglecting other customers (to whom I apologise for any delay caused by my attempt to buy out the whole stock!). Not a single mistake. All food was fantastic and all members of my family agreed. "best fishcake I've had in ages" "so many chips!" "superb" We'll be back!
Had fish cake, pea fritter and chips at lunchtime. The chips are hands down the best chips iv had in a while. Will be using again
Simple the best I went to this fish and chip shop. Simple the best I've had in Hampshire. I've been back there times since. The staff were friendly and helpful giving me my food just as I requested. The food was abundant, and I was a happy bunny. I will be returning again soon.
