   A traditional village pub with a cosy vibe and a warm welcome. We came on a Monday night to try the £10 pie offer : a pie and two sides and we weren't disappointed. I went for the vegan mushroom pie with chips and mushy peas and my husband had meat and potato pie. Both came with gravy and both were delicious. There was also a vegetarian option of a vegetable packed pie. I'm not sure if the veggie/ vegan option changes weekly but I'd definitely recommend a visit!

   First time we visited and will definitely be back. On arrival the pub is very clean and welcoming. We had two courses which were delicious, neither me or my husband could fault our visit it was perfect.

   My wife and I had dinner here on 3 occasions last week with our labrador whilst staying in Yorkshire on holiday for the week. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff whose service was amazing. The decor of the pub was so lovely and the food was absolutely amazing. We were very happy to see a menu for dogs as well, such a lovely little touch that we have never seen anywhere before. Needless to say, our lab absolutely loved going each time, knowing he was getting a lovely treat from the menu. We would highly recommend this pub if you are looking for a lovely meal in a nice place served by very professional and polite people.

   Excellent food and superb staff. First visit...but definitely not the last . Thursday steak night and Monday pie night. Loads more on the menu .. and dog friendly too.. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening . We revisited with friends today for a birthday and the ploughman's were excellent once again. Staff always friendly..

   Good Sunday lunch carvery with beef and turkey. Huge portions and the cost reasonable. Need to book table as quite popular. Great service and the dessert board is for gluttons in both selection and portion size. For a change in scenery, a great run out from Hull with good car parking at the pub. Access to bathrooms easy for those infirm on their feet.

   Stayed at westfeild Country Park with some friends and managed to book a table here, wow amazing food ,we even booked a table again the following night could not fault it one bit ,excellent service and friendly staff the pub was set out beautifully we have even said that we would travel the distance just to eat here again I will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends and family stunning
