I have had one of Apron strings meals to take out, for the last three Wednesdays and every one of them has been delicious, full of flavour and so easy to heat up. Very reasonably priced too. I have also had 3 meat and cheese platters recently for three birthdays. They make a great birthday present and my family members have started to look forward to receiving a platter for special occasions, they always go down so well. Thankyou Paul and Jess for providing such a great service.
Had a fabulous evening at the Sourdough Course. Paul made us all feel relaxed. He is font of knowledge, so interesting. Brought lots of goodies home, a starter, a loaf, made a loaf to bake and a pizza. Thank you so much x
The overall score for Apron Strings speaks for itself but I can confirm they are all well deserved. We got artisan boxes and desserts today as a treat for my mother In law and everyone agreed they were amazing and so filling. The range of cheese was lovely and my son loved his child’s selection. I just wished we lived closer to visit more often but are prepared to travel to buy from Apron Strings when we can. Thank you Paul
Myself my wife and friends had an absolutely fantastic fun and informative morning learning how to make sourdough bread. I would certainly recommend joining Paul and his wife Jess for a sourdough workshopp experience and we can't wait to try the Pasta workshop in the near future. He's a photograph our first attempt. Does it get any better than fresh home-baked bread with a nice glass of beer?
Last night we attended one of Apron Springs pop-up nights, to say we were impressed would be a massive understatement. The food provided was outstanding, 8 courses of delicious treats and perfectly balanced flavour combinations to set the tastebuds alight. The experience was enhanced by Pauls knowledge and passion for the food they were providing, talking you through each course as it was presented and only to happy to answer any questions people had. The venue is intimate and the trio delivering the experience were wonderfully attentive and engaging. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!
Phil and I went to the pop up restaurant evening on 02/07. The food was amazing and locally sourced. Paul, Jess and Ed were brilliant and explained what was in the dish and why - the team knew their stuff!! Would definitely recommend going to one of these events, but be warned you need to be quick.
