   On my way back to Nottingham but have to say this was incredible. What I ordered wasn't exactly on the menu I had a garlic & chillies chicken curry with rice and garlic nann. The nann let me tell you EVERYONE need to make it like you do it was incredible.. the curry was amazing too full of flavour and so fresh. my own criticism would be that the fresh chillie was whole which created big pockets of heat if the chilli was diced it would have been more balanced flavour and heat wise.. I get another booking in hull myself and the team will be back thank you..

   Best Indian in hull by far. Our go to for many years.. we are known as their generational customers because a few generations of our family have been ordering from them over the many years they have been around. Excellent food always, customer service is always on point and deliveries are fast compared to how busy they get. Love it!!

   Absolutely Brilliant Takeaway Just had a large family order from Moonlight Tandoori and everything from start to finish was spot on. It’s no surprise they’ve won The Curry Awards because they truly deserve it! Every dish was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. We ordered a mix including butter chicken, prawn bhuna, chicken naga, garlic chilli chicken, and more and each one had its own distinct, delicious taste. The coconut rice was a standout! Everything arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly packed with clear labelling. The portions were also very generous.We were feeding a group and everyone had more than enough. The staff were super friendly and very considerate, love that they have signs about allergens and payment options. You can tell they care about customers and the local community. It’s rare to find consistency across both food and service, but Moonlight Tandoori nails it. This place will definitely be our go-to from now on. Highly recommended for anyone in Hull craving proper Indian food done right.

   During our family visit to Hull from Birmingham, We ordered Moonlight and had prawn karahi, prawn garlic and coriander masala, butter chicken, chicken jalfrezi, and garlic naan, along with a really good garlic sauce- and everything was full of flavour. The prawns were cooked just right, especially in the garlic and coriander masala which had a nice, herby kick. The butter chicken was rich, sweet and creamy without being too heavy, and the chicken jalfrezi had a great balance of spice and depth. The naan was soft, warm- a perfect pair to all the curries. The garlic sauce on the side added a nice extra touch too. Overall, a really satisfying and well-rounded meal- would definitely recommend.

   Used Moonlight for many years, and I don't recall ever having a bad meal. The service is a little slow, but if that is the cost of a nice meal, so be it. On the plus side, there are comfortable chairs and couches, or I guess you could call ahead.

   Absolutely excellent food, so tasty and generous portions, friendly staff. My only criticism is that it's always late, last Saturday I rang at 5.00 pm for delivery at 7.00pm. Food actually arrived 50 minutes late 7.50pm. Food was hot and very tasty as mentioned earlier but tbh i was ready to turn the driver away. Please at least call if you are running late. I will still order from here but please sort out the timing issues Many thanks Rob

   so here goes!! i’ve used moonlight for 13+ years from when AZ and his father owned the takeaway… over the last 18months they has been several occasions when i have been disappointed with my order…. ie wrong order, forgetting part of order, missing drinks…: ect. The prices have increased and the portions have decreased. The quality of the food also is not as good as it use to be, I will no longer be recommending this takeaway to family or friends…
