   Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. £36 wasted. Curry sauce was so salty it was inedible, prawn crackers were stale, and the chow mein wasn’t even cooked properly – just thin noodles dumped in a box with sauce and oversized meat on top, plus only one prawn. Mini spring rolls were oversized, salty and tasteless. Couldn’t tell you what the chicken fried rice was like, since the salty curry sauce ruined it. Whole meal went in the bin. Absolute disgrace for the price – avoid this place at all costs.

   Whenever we order a Chinese we get it from here and it's usually amazing! However tonight it's horrendous! Special fried rice is dry, the meat is dry, look and smells horrible and literally has dried rice on top. Chow mein, meat and veg dumped on top, beef was chewy and slimy and I literally had to spit it out, the noodles have a weird taste ( never had any issues with them previously) chips are dry and overcooked, the curry sauce tastes and smells burnt. So disappointed, it's cost £40 and it has all gone in the bin, unfortunately we will not be returning to our favourite Chinese because of these issues today. We have literally had to order somewhere else to eat for tonight because this is just inedible

   This is genuinely the worst takeaway food I've eaten in Hull. The delivery driver was so kind that I feel bad leaving this review, but the satay tastes of water and the fried rice is foul, completely dry and flavourless. It's so bland that it made me feel so depressed that I lost my appetite.

   I am coeliac and this is my fave takeaway atm. I've probably had from here at least a good 10 times. I usually get the chicken chow mein, but I've also had the chicken fried rice and the chicken and sweetcorn soup, so far every meal has been hot and delicious. The food comes in a timely manner (sometimes a bit longer on a weekend, but during the week it can be super quick), it comes in a good sized tub that's always filled to the brim, and is always piping hot. It's absolutely delicious. Personally I think the chicken seems a bit cheap (by flavour and esp texture) but that's probably quite normal at Chinese's 'cos they gotta cover costs, but it's still nice and the meal over all is 10/10. They always read my note and adjust my meal how I like it (less onions, more mushrooms) and it tastes sooo good. And I didn't even know I liked seaweed! Lol. But the chow mein comes with some and it's beaut! Definitely recommend Peking House :)

   Not used Peking House for a few months but the food we got was most definitely not to the standard we used to get. One of the meals we ordered tasted burnt and was totally inedible. Sadly once one of the best Chinese takeaways we used to use is one we won’t be using again.

   Absolutely awful food sweet an sour hong kong style chicken just slimey chunks of preformed chicken certainly not fried in batter or cooked properly, special fried rice missing ingredients and topped with very very dry tough chunks of meat. Absolutely awful, all in all 30 quid thrown in the bin.

   We have not received such appalling food in a long time; threw away almost £20 of takeout. The food was cold, Crispy Chicken soggy on the outside where it should have been crispy and the chicken inside so tough you could not cut it with a knife least of all chew it making you wonder how old it was. The Veggie Rolls were not rolled but falling apart and another soggy and cold offering. We will not make the mistake of ordering from here again. We have contacted the restaurant but have received no response to make it right, hence the review as we have given them every opportunity to make this right or at least acknowledge our concerns.

   Hour and a half for delivery, said 35mins on the website. Food cold and soggy. Curry like water, no taste. HK vegan chicken was rock hard batter. Honestly disgusting. £4 delivery and a service charge. I really wanted to give Peking house another go after being disappointed last time I ordered. Big mistake. You really need to sort yourselves out guys. Not good.

   A good Chinese takeaway. Beef currY was very nice, very tasty. Chips were better than most Chinese’s. salt and pepper chips were not very spicy but still good. House special Szechuan was extremely tasty. Good size portions
