Went today for traditional Sunday lunch. The food was excellent and priced on point. This was served in a timely manner and could not fault the portion sizes. However, its always a little tricky when being served at the bar as no one appears to check who requires serving first, or during busy times attempt to acknowledge your presence or wait, but in all fairness this is a common fault I find in most pubs and so I am being picky here.

First time visiting and got to say this place is really nice and now one of our favourite places to eat. Food is amazing

Called in for lunch, order two meals, bacon chop nicely cooked unfortunately the cook needs a lot of practice on how to cook an egg and to griddle off the pineapple and not leave it raw and to remove the core. Nice pub, staff waiting on our table looked really unhappy being there! Don’t think I’d spend my money there again.

The Beech Tree Inn at Willoughby left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. Their welcoming smiles and attentive service set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. But the real star of the show was the food. Every dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was clear that the chefs poured their heart and soul into creating a memorable menu. I left the Beech Tree Inn feeling thoroughly satisfied and already planning my next visit. If you're looking for a place with exceptional food and warm hospitality, this is the place to be. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Just had a drink. It was very busy as I was with a retirement party. Drinks are not cheap same as in other pubs. Wheelchairs easily moves around. Not sure about disabled toilets. The food looked good as it passed by us.

Lovely homley place. Staff great. Dissapointed as a vegetarian in regard to the choice of food. I went for the fixed price I would have had the burger but I can't eat mushrooms so that was not an option. I had soup which was just warm!! and a desert . It's such a a shame veggy food does not compare with meat eaters such as veggy pie or lentil Shepshed pie. Veggy casserole with a suet top. They are so cheap to make and vegetarians do like hearty food too.

Went for dinner last night, was very disappointed by the (lack of) service and quality of food. Waited more that. 35 minutes for our food to arrive. Let’s say it was a busy night, so it’s understandable. Still waiting for the onion rings my friend ordered and paid for. My chicken burger was so disappointing. Tiniest slice of tomato, lettuce and mayo ever seen, bun overcooked.

Terrible, food was awful. Microwave frozen food and the meat was inedible. It disintegrated in your mouth. I was looking forward to this meal and at £9.79 I expected better. It obviously just comes as you see it portioned, and just warmed up on a plate. I've honestly had better frozen TV dinners. It's not the fault of the staff or the kitchen workers to be honest, but how they can say they have a chef beggers belief. There is no way any of that food was cooked there, it was simply reheated. I can't think of anything nice to say about it apart from it was dealt with and I was given a full refund. The poor member of staff didn't even disagree with me, it's not fair that they have to serve this tripe. I don't know where in the board room meeting did they agree that this is acceptable food to feed the paying public. I'll never visit an Ember Inns again, the franchises are torturing our tastebuds and it's a disgrace. **This review wasn't a pop at the chef, more that I feel sorry for a chef that doesn't actually get to cook the food**
