   Lovely pub, although a bit cold - it was a particularly cold day to be honest. Food couldn't be faulted and the Vegetarian nut roast was great, including Veggie gravy. Staff were welcoming, professional and fun. Good craic! We were a party of five adults and we agreed that we would all go again. (I dont think that there were any Vegan choices on the menu unfortunately.)

   Don’t normally do reviews but needed to for this place. We stayed at lodge nearby and went for few drinks a couple of days we was away and the warm welcome we got was brilliant. Big shout out to Alex for making us feel welcome. Last night of our stay we went here for the a meal and it didn’t disappoint. Chorizo scotch egg was amazing. Mains was spot on and our little girls was buzzing about the brownie and ice cream. If you’re passing or staying near by please go you won’t be disappointed.

   I had the haddock and chips, which was excellent! Then had a single scoop of vanilla icecream, which was too sweet and was slimy. I didnt eat much of it, as it was grim. I would go for the fish and chips again.

   Giant yorkshire pudding highly recommend. Stunning food and reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Can't fault it. Highly recommend trying this place if your in the area. You are in for a treat.

   Great service straight away from one of the waitresses, we popped in on the off chance we might get a table on New year's day. She tried to get us seated and managed to in the end, going above and beyond straight away with a great customer service and interacting with our 3 year old! I think she was the only waitress that had glasses on if that helps the owners praise her for her 5* service. Food was excellent with a great atmosphere and quaint feel to the place. Really well priced for the quality of food.

   Perfect for a lovely lunch. Ample car parking, clean and comfortable seating inside with wooden bench sets outside. The young lady behind the bar was very welcoming, sorted us with a table and took our drinks order as we arrived. She brought the drinks over with the menus. Our food was delicious, hot and well presented. The service was all carried out by the same young lady who was excellent in all her customer service skills, a real credit to the pub. Definitely worth a visit

   Went for Sunday lunch today and what a find. I had the three meat roast with beef, pork and turkey. All three were excellent but the beef was probably the best I've had with a pub meal. Perfectly cooked vegetables, lovely rich gravy and decent beers. A really nice looking building with a pleasant modern interior plus the staff were attentive and friendly. Very reasonably priced and cannot recommend it enough. A very successful Sunday drive out for us.

   First time here lovely little pub. Best of both worlds. The outside aesthetics is the look of a lovely country pub while the inside is a stylish modern restaurant. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. We both had the beef Sunday which was lovely. We both had different desserts. I had the sticky toffee pudding, my husband had the dark brownie which both where divine. Would definitely recommend to any one and would come back if in the area.
