   I've just had my first visit to this fabulous restaurant. From the moment we were greeted at the door, I was very impressed with the service, the surroundings and the atmosphere. Having been vegetarian since 1987, I'm no stranger to vegetarian restaurants and veggie food. I can honestly say this was the best I've ever experienced. The restaurant hosts themed nights, with cuisine from different parts of the world. It was "Deep South" themed when we visited, with lots of different, authentic dishes, inspired by the food of the Southern States of the USA. The best thing is that it was served in a buffet style, so you could help yourself to any or all of the dishes, and eat as much as you like. The same applied to the desserts, which were exquisite. There was plenty of choice for vegans, too. The service from all the staff was very friendly and not over-the-top. Although there were plenty of other diners, it wasn't noisy and the atmosphere was very civilised and relaxed. I honestly cannot fault this place, and I can't wait to go again.

   a truly unique , wholesome and welcoming venue . I adored the interior and the service was friendly and fantastic, my partner booked for 25 people for my birthday and chose the cuisine Greek. It was absolutely WOW. I was the only veggie in attendance hence why he booked it for my birthday(I’ve been dying to go for years) and everybody said it was some of the best food they’ve ever had and I would have to agree . Home cooked, quirky and heartfelt. I had the most beautiful Birthday- thank you Hitchcocks- a night to remember forever

   An all you can eat vegetarian buffet in an eclectic building tucked away in Oldtown, with the friendliest staff. Hitchcocks is wonderful. The food theme is chosen for each night by the first guest to book (amazing), no idea how the French/Italian theme was picked (should've asked). Pasta and Pommes Frites, yes please. Try to save room for the cakes at the end.

   Hands down my favourite restaurant! The space is beautiful and it’s a very relaxed environment. They couldn’t be more considerate of dietary requirements and the staff couldn’t be lovelier. I’d recommend Hitchcocks to everyone & the food is full of SO much flavour - you will not be disappointed !

   Best restaurant and meal we’ve ever had! Brilliant concept for a restaurant (all you can eat buffet and whoever books first chooses theme) - chef incredibly talented to be able to cater this. We went for our valentines meal and it was Italian theme. All the food was incredible and so much choice for mains and dessert on buffet. I am Vegan and the options were great- anything that wasn’t vegan the chef even made me vegan portions of these especially for me!! ☺️ Couldn’t recommend more- amazing value for money.

   Eaten and enjoyed food here lots of times and always 100% satisfied. Celebrated my husbands 60th birthday at a different venue but had the Hitchcocks crew do our catering. Oh my they didn't disappoint, the theme was Jamaican and it was outstanding. Everything was eaten , we had a all Vegan menu and ourselves and our guests gave it a 10/10. Thank you Hitchcocks you were amazing ❤️

   Italian vegetarian night, eat as much as you like. A selection of wines. Ring the door bell on the right and someone will collect you from the first floor. A much larger restaurant than you would imagine. Good for large groups with vegan options. Recommend to book as it opens from 20:00 pm. My photo 6/10 of the barman wiping the glass has hit over 1,000,000 views today 16/08/20 took while on holiday in Hull January 2020 after the Russian Ballet.
