Hour and sour soup was fantastic. Special Chow Main wasn't. Cold prawns, luke warm noodles, didn't taste like they were fresh, I didn't hear a wok or any cooking like any other Chinese takeaway I've been into, so assumed the noodles were pre cooked and microwaved.
Everything is great from The Golden Boat. No complaints and been ordering on a Thursday for a long time now for collection
Food is always good, delivery times always quicker than advised, but no problem.
Bought a Chop Suey and 5 spiced cashew nuts. It's was just normal cashew nuts. Not mixed any spices. You can buy better cashew pack from Aldi near to the shop more cheeper and better. Shop suey is also not good at all. Seems mixed of water and little bit of sauce. And the potion size mentioned as large, but it's not seems to be not large to me.
Best Chinese food in Fareham . My favourite place to order from! Excellent service . All the food we ordered is fresh and the meals are incredibly flavoursome . Highly recommend.
What has happened to their food? We usually love this place, but our last takeaway was awful. Food tasted, shall we say, strange. I am not blaming the restaurant for the fact that my wife exhibited all the symptoms of food poisoning during the next 24 hours. Simply because I have no evidence Did I complain later? No - absolutely no time on my busiest month. Writing this purely because it was requested.
We have been going there for some time and always very nice,, but tonight it was horrible the mushroom fried rice was tasteless and the pancake roll was just full of bean sprouts such a disappointment tonight......
One of the best Chinese takeaway s in Fareham. I have mainly bought a takeaway from The Golden Boat either collect or delivered.
Best chinese I've eaten In years we have never found a chinese that could compete with our old local but this tops it! Sweet and sour Hong Kong is beautiful, wasn't so keen on the chicken curry. I'd recommend anyone to give them a go :-)
