Had a great experience at GDK. I ordered the Original Doner Kebab and it was very tasty, fresh & flavourful. Uma was happy to help and provided excellent, friendly service, which made the visit even better. Will definitely be coming back!
Will definitely be coming again. Really enjoyed. Food tastes fresh and healthy. Good portion size and price. Bread was so soft and yummy. Restaurant was clean and service was lovley. Sam was very friendly and made our experience better than it already was.
My dine in experience today was phenomenal. I was greeted by Miss Uma, who despite the challenges with such a big order for my family, kindly went through each items systematically and with patience. She was kind enough to suggest which meals to make a meal as I was originally planning to get drinks on their own. She did this in a very supportive manner without putting pressure, which I think is what makes the customer service here exceptional. And as always I couldn't recommend this place any further, the food is tasty and gets prepared fast!
Got a deal for GDK at freshers fayre and my expectations were exceeded! The staff were absolutely lovely and the mixed rice bowl and Berlin donut bites were amazing and really filling (but not too much)
Amazing experience and the best kebab in Portsmouth. We are regulars here, but my family was over for the New Year, and it was their first time in the restaurant. I particularly want to highlight the great service provided by Thili. Nothing was too much trouble for her,and she really went over and beyond for making us feel welcome. She is such a credit to the team, and I hope this feedback is shared with her. Thank you, we will be back!
I was hungry after my today's lectures so one of my friends suggest me this place (GDK) and i went today to try their food, when i visited i was confused what to order so the one taking the order named SAM suggest me some kebabs and offers and after he gave options i can easily decide what to order. Such a good and warm hospitality by him and the team. I ordered veggie kebab which he suggested and customised a little for me and it was fabulous. This kebab place is now one of my favourite to eat. The food is amazing and the service provided was also so welcoming. I loved the place and food. Thank you Sam and the team.
It was my second visit to GDK Portsmouth and that was as good as last time. Tried their beef kebab and it was really tasty. The place was so neat and tidy. Friendly and polite staff. Thank you Yagnik and Mittal for your service!
GDK is my go-to sit-down kebab choice in London and Portsmouth. I found the staff service at this branch very friendly and professional. They didn't have flaming fries this time and the ordering screens were off but not big issues. The Doner Box with fries was tasty and well put together/presented. Big shout out to Yagnik and the team for looking after us during our stay. I will definitely come back
Worth having food here . The best part above all is that the food is HALAL . Which you might not find in many restaurants nearby. Special thanks to the Manager ( Yagnik) there to guide us the best option to try their OG kebab... Kudos to the Team for speedy service .
Very very, I mean very slow service. Place was near empty and I had to wait for 18 minutes for 3 kebabs. Staff doesn't help each other just doing there own thing, in slow mo. Portion is shockingly small, ordered a box supposedly half meat half chips, it was 80% chips with barely some meat and even that was burnt. Loads of other family run places nearby which offer the same price or cheaper with a lot bigger portions. Very disappointed and will surely not be returning.
