Eaten from here quite a few times, food is usually very tasty, a bit inconsistent but tasty. We went again today, nice food but price has gone up significantly, so much so that we said we will not bother again. It used to be great value lunch, now an expensive treat. It's a shame, luckily in the market there is a good choice of better value offerings.
Amazing food! Would definitely travel back to Sheffield just for this! We had the birria tacos and the chicken loaded fries - incredible!
Food was very average and lacked a lot of flavour. I got the birria tacos which had no sauce with them. The taco shells were solid, you couldn’t fold them to eat properly. And cucumbers on birria tacos is a questionable choice (should be red onion and coriander). Biggest issue was no cheese on the tacos, which is crucial for birria.
Highly recommend the slow cooked pork tacos. Fresh ingredients, punch you in the face flavour, and surprisingly filling. Will definitely be back to make my way through the other items on the menu.
No need to mince words. This is simply the most divine eatery in Hull. We had slow cooked steak burritos and if you hadn’t yet tried them… do. The photo is after we ate them. No time to photograph when the food was this good. Imagine the best burrito ever. That’s what they were.
The fella who runs this place is an incredibly friendly and magnetic individual, and I can assure you that’s not to compensate for the foods quality. The taste is impeccable and in terms of bang for your buck? You can’t find a better place to eat. Highly recommend trying this place if you’re out and about.
Boss burrito is one of the best burritos I have ever taste in Hull unfortunately is not the same every time when I go and this is because the person cooking is changed. The flavour changes and presentation changes. I Went for tacos this time and they just gave meat in the taco shell with not coriander, onions and salsa how they describe it in the menu, went to the counter and ask why is only meat and she gave me the salsa but said that had no coriander but is curious that my girlfriend’s burrito had coriander. I was going to give boss burrito 5 stars but I think you need to have always the same standards or at least tell costumer before they order that you don’t have an ingrediente like the other man in charge.
