   Placed an order for collection from this store. Despite having an email to confirm my order was ready to collect, 3 members of staff couldn't find it. Despite head office confirming the order had been received by a known member of staff ... nope they still couldn't find it. Despite me pointing out that the ordered items were on display on the shop floor ... nope they couldn't resolve it that way either. I was told I'd get a refund processed ... nope they couldn't get that sorted either. The staff here are either breathtakingly incompetent... or thieving scammers. Highly un-recommended.

   Worse jd to go to the staff are clueless! I’ve been here 3 times every time I’ve had to wait 10min just to try and pay once at the till it gets even worse with staff that clearly have no interest being there. Clearly don’t have the clue what the are doing because they can’t even remove a security tag. It’s points going there. Maybe the employ incompetent staff on purpose to make you ship online instead. Won’t be going back in there to spend a penny.

   It’s not often I jump on to do a review for a store but I was so impressed with the service I received today at Whiteley. The store was absolutely packed but one of the staff went out of his way to help me find a football kit for my son, they didn’t have any goalie gloves so he even suggested going to Sports Direct next door (wish I had taken his name, he was great) I had to queue for about 15 mins to pay but the guy at the till was apologised for the wait. Such helpful and friendly staff in-spite of being flat out. In contrast I then went to Sports Direct which was dead quiet and had to ask 2 seperate staff where the gloves were and they just jestured in the general direction, not helpful at all especially when they could see I was struggling with a 3 yr old with me.

   Plenty of parking and free for the first 3 hours. Step into this shop if you are on your uppers, it can be quite expensive. Nice sole music playing on the speakers but I declined the coffee as it may have been laced. Tongues were wagging in the boxes as they had spotted a loose zipper. I thought I was having a fit ing. Great place to imagine a word game.

   Absolute rip off. We picked up some kids adidas hi-tops in their sale £15. But when we reached the till they scan through as £65. The manager admitted it was their fault but refused to sell us the shoes at the marked price and offered a 10% discount. Moral don't trust their price tags they'll make up the price at the till.
