   So this place was a complete surprise. We decided to get some take away on the way home and so I looked for Chinese places in Crossgar and found just this one. So I called in an order - sweet and sour Cantonese style and some curry chicken: a really typical order from a Chinese take away. Wasn't expecting much tbh but actually it was bloody good. The curry was excellent with decent quality chicken and the sweet and sour was great too. It looks like the place hasn't been updated since 1979 but the food was excellent.

   Awful service by whoever is taking phone calls tonight. Extremely cheeky and rude and unhelpful. Interrupted when I was speaking should not be dealing with customers. Was told delivery would take an hour, two hours later still nothing.

   Food is usually nice, however 1 and half to 2 hours wait for delivery is not uncommon. Don't order delivery if you're hungry now!

   2018.Gave 4 Star rating .Delicious we ordered the special chow me in and Singapore noodles. The Chow Mein was the nicest chow me in we have eaten in a long time. The Singapore Noodles were flavoursome, to say the least. Portions were huge. 2019 All Changed. We phoned in an order at 8.25 pm.Sat night 17/8. We rang twice by 9.30. We were forced to cancel by 9.35 as no order had arrived.

   Ordered several different meals and it was awful. There was a large chicken bone in my sons meal and he almost broke his tooth. All I can say is everything went in the bin. We called to complain and were told no one else Has had a problem. Won’t be ordering from there again. IN Response to the owner: 1. ALL the food was bland and suitable only for the bin 2. If the food was boneless don’t know where the huge bone came from. Very worrying. Didn’t say he choked. 3. Can’t speak for other people who don’t speak up and complain. 4. You hung up on me. Also. Why would I want free food when I threw all the existing food in the bin. I don’t like it to be insinuated that I made the review up for free food. I think it needs to be looked into why large bones are in boneless food.
