   Only called in for chicken n sweetcorn soup ..only £2.50 compared to other local shops charging nearly £4 . Was absolutely filled with chicken. Filled tub as well . Deffo going back to try meals. Again loads cheaper than other local shops . It's got great reviews so going to try soon . X

   We don’t have takeaway that often but when we do we have always got it from Mei Mei. However our meal was disappointing this Saturday. I had my usual, special fried rice. The pieces of beef were full of gristle, no pieces of pork and what I thought were pieces of chicken were awful both taste and texture.

   We have tried many Chinese takeaways around and all previous ones tasted good and similar, until we ordered here and the food was not tasting good unfortunately. It just my opinion. 2 and half stars.

   The best day of the year for me, my annual take away at work. Chinese this year, Mei Mei, not my first choice. Nor was it my second. But nevertheless, I went into this experience with an open mind, only to be disappointed. Salt and pepper share boxes, without a speck of pepper in sight. One tray of chips, in a £120 order for 15 men. So. Here I am, depressed at work. A salty graveyard of overcooked chicken was great company with my 7 chips. Brilliant.

   Large menu across the back wall, tariyaki, curry, appetisers, side dishes, lots of items. Set menus including set menu for 4 for £40. Vegetable curry is about £5. Boiled rice is about £1.80. A lady and a boy behind counter. Counter has glass or similar screen all the way across with a hatch for ordering, paying and receiving. This is takeaway. Cash only. Sanitizer available. Lady behind counter has a mask. Restaurant looks clean and nice. Small benches for sitting on whilst waiting for order. Portions are good and food tastes very nice. Chopsticks provided on request and free fortune cookie told me something thrilling lies ahead.

   Ordered a couple of times after my usual has gone downhill. The food here is lovely. I absolutely love there salt and pepper chips and the curry is really nice. Always good portions and polite staff. Delivery driver really nice and helpful too. I definitely recommend. I really hope they set up online ordering so I could order easier and more often though.
