Excellent coffee bar on the shore line of Newcastle, right beside the Harbour Bar Inn. Beautiful decor, friendly and professional staff with a fab outside terrace that is open all year round. Great selection of breakfast, lunch, coffees and milkshakes to die for. Oh and they even serve alcohol, did anyone say Prosecco lunches? Their view is a must when you are staying in Newcastle, breathtaking… and if you feel like a swim or some water activites, the water here is crystal clear with swimmers coming from all over Ireland for open water swimming.

What an amazing find!! We came here after hiking Slive Donard as we have spent the last 3 weeks in Ireland and wanted to try an Irish coffee, we were not disappointed! The cafe has amazing views overlooking the sea, elegantly decorated and offers something for everyone. We were blown away by the hospitality of Anna, super friendly and so passionate about the mountains, surrounding her home. She gave us lots of recommendations and went above and beyond for us! (Which we have added in the photos and mountain reviews) Thanks Anna :-) the Norwegians

It's such a nice spot. We stopped in for breakfast and had tea/coffee, porridge, and granola - it was delicious. Great views of the bay. The staff are friendly and attentive. Used by both locals and day trippers. Couldn't fault it.

Not sure how we have never seen this spot before! Lovely views and outdoor seating area. Stopped for breakfast & coffee. Coffees were delayed with decaf given to the wrong table but lovely once we received them. Enjoyed our breakfast & would go back!

It's a very nice little bistro cafe. The food is excellent - good portions of very tasty food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The worst cafe experience in Newcastle! Wrong orders, cold food, incompetent staff and not even any cutlery to eat with. Firstly our order was incorrect, so had to be sent back. We also asked for some knifes as there were none at the self service. When our food arrived back for the second time we still weren’t given any knifes. We attempted to get started on our food with just our forks, although it’s pretty difficult to eat a fry this way….. The beans were bloody freezing! After another 5 or so minutes I went up to ask for a manager to see if anyone in the place could get us some knives to eat with. Still no success. Apparently there wasn’t a manager working and they were too understaffed to wash 2 knives for us. We ended up asking for a refund and leaving, after much of a faff at the register to refund me. Bottom line, stay away.

Has a nice dog-friendly eating area (covered) overlooking the bay. Food quality excellent and service very polite and friendly. Our second time here over a short stay, and will be definitely be back next time we're in Newcastle!

Went inside, no staff engagement, Finally worked out for ourselves you have to go to till to get menu's, order and pay at till. This is very cafeteria like. The staff member at till was not at all friendly, while sitting we observed the same staff member coughing into her hand, didn't wash her hands and was touching the top of coffee cups. Other staff members seemed friendly. Breakfast came out quite quickly. Food was nice but portions where small. No coffee or tea with breakfast, this is rare on the island of Ireland as a whole. 2 Breakfast where almost 20 pounds sterling, expensive. Interior Decorated nicely.

Very busy , nice staff, pet friendly. Food nice just the waiting time was a bit longer than expected.
