   Came from down south and have been looking for a chicken place similar to the ones we have there. I swear Yankee’s is it! Their chicken, burgers, and meal sets are literally the best you’ll ever get in Hull. The price is also great, sending me right back to 2015 - those were the bloody good old days. I almost cried when I first tasted it too. Spent 3 years looking for a good halal chicken spot, and it was right next to me the entire time! Love Yankee Chicken!!!

   Yankee Chicken truly delivers the best-tasting chicken I’ve had in a long time—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor in every bite. You can tell they take pride in their food! On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their great attitude makes the whole experience even better. If you want delicious chicken paired with top-notch service, Yankee Chicken is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

   The food was mediocre to bad: no taste or aroma, just chicken wings, fried in old oil that should have been changed a long time ago: the colour, the taste, the smell... that's pure cancer. I asked for garlic mayonnaise but got plain...no big deal. Fries were just cold fries refried into that dirty oil to warm them, but the taste was awfull. The place is disgustingly dirty and greasy. The floor is downright horrible. The chairs are sticky: after touching it, I decided to stand so as not to get my clothes dirty. The menus are barely visible because of the greasy panel, the display case for prepared food is disgusting: greasy, full of black food residue, the walls yellowed with grease, the glass - useless... I think it would be easier to demolish the place and rebuild it, than to bring it to an acceptable standard of cleanliness. I came home, tried to eat but all I could think about was the mess in the place so after two bites I threw it all away. I can't understand how the authorities are so blind, how they don't see places like this?! May God protect us!

   Lady completed my order on the till before I had completed giving her my order Chicken burger (not bought as part of a meal deal) was 1x chicken strip in a bun with lettuce and mayo - so half my burger was effectively a lettuce sandwich. Chip spice is crap and tasteless, potion sizes have all gotten smaller over time and quality just not as good as it used to be. Shame really. Waiting time for food was OK, the shop has recently had a little work done to it to stop it looking so dated - this is good but needs more to happen to complete it.

   Great place to eat with your friends and family. The food is 10/10 very tasty and amazing. Decent price and the quantity of food it’s enough to fill you up to the top. Good things all foods are Halal. I recommend this to everybody.

   What a tight tight place with their portions but feel the need to price it like they are serving you 2 plates. Stingy portion of chips!! It’s sad this place used to be good.

   Pros: Good value for money Staff are nice Chips were great Wings nice and crunchy Chicken juicy Edit: Writing this edit a few months down the line - Honestly may be the best chicken in Hull. Always to a set standard, fresh, and delicious. Friendly and Great prices too. Please try this at least once. You'll be blown away!!!
