   Ordered a click and collect of the website for a new hoover as ours had broken. Within 2 days of order we received a text to say it was ready for collection in store however on arrival it was nowhere to be found. Curry’s online customer service kept telling us to wait 2 days and return to store but after 2 weeks and repeated visits still no hoover to be seen (not great when we’ve just had a baby) we were then told that an investigation would take 2 weeks and if we wanted a refund to purchase the hoover direct from store a further 5-7 working days. Within Christmas coming up we won’t see our money again until after new years. Again the customer care from your online team is appalling and I’ll never order online from you again and advise anyone against it. The reason for the 5 star review and the only reason I will continue to shop with curry’s was Anthony. He was amazing start to finish over the 2 week period. He took on the online sales team on my behalf argued my case for me. He even managed to source me a new hoover organising the transfer from another store meaning I would get it quicker without having to drive. He went above and beyond was professional and attentive. You need your online team to take notes from Anthony! I hope he gets some sort of recognition from management for this review because again he is the only reason I’ll shop here again!

   Excellent service when you speak to the right person! One advisor tried to sell us an air fryer which was a stock item on display for over £200. We declined as I knew I had seen this cheaper elsewhere. Unleashing the store there was a display at the bottom of the stairs of a better air fryer and over £100 cheaper. Very helpful advisor this time so we purchased this one.

   Recently bought a TV and tumble dryer with this branch and had stellar experience with our customer service Rep Hashim and delivery driver Michal. Hashim got us savings for our insurance and Michal specially was respectable, cheery and got the items safely in our home - even ringing us before he got here. Delivery tracking was also very easy to use. While the store is not the largest, there are plenty of knowledgeable staff that helped us get our products.

   After a previous experience in Portsmouth we thought that we'd try it again, disappointing service so we went to Fareham and happy to report it was 100% better in all respects. Pity that Portsmouth lost our trade 3 large kitchen items and 2 smaller items, Fareham shone through with credit to the excellent customer values. It was well worth travelling the ever busy M27 today. Plus the Fareham Currys branch is near to our home.

   Click and collect order cancelled an hour after ordering with no email or call to explain why. Went to store next day and they confirmed items are in stock but was probably cancelled as it wouldn't have been available in the strict deadline they're set. I'm now in a battle with customer services to get a refund as it was paid on a gift card and have been told different things by three different people. One said a gift card for the value has been processed and available in store, which the store confirmed was a lie. I didn't even want it refunded, I wanted the items, but I can't get them until the refund is processed which could be whenever they feel like it, it seems. My advice, if you must use this shop don't use click and collect if using a gift voucher. Alternatively, go somewhere who actually values their customers like I did afterwards.

   First time I came away from this shop happy with the level of customer service I received. Usually I come away so frustrated by the staff in this shop. However we were served by a young lad named Henry and he was happy to help us and discuss TV s with us. Lovely lad showing the rest of them how it should be done! Many Thanks Henry.

   Well, staff seemed disinterested and any information had to be looked up, very little product knowledge when I asked about the 5 different Vax cordless vacuums, I ended up googling it myself to find what the difference was, when I decided to buy (I wanted to purchase 2 cordless vacuums), none were in stock but I could purchase online. Not that satisfactory this time for me, and waste of time going to the store for me.

   I needed charger bits for use with a toothbrush, mobile and fitbit- type watch. The manager was adept at ensuring customers weren't kept waiting including me. In fact he helped me. Alas when I got home the purchases weren't compatible with 2 of the 3 gadgets. Again the manager worked swiftly to help customers and he helped me find what I needed. Thus I returned ' a happy bunny'.
